Cherry hugged him tightly.
"I hate them!" She buried her head in his arms, her hoarse voice carrying a sob, "Horse riding is no fun at all! They stink so badly!"
Gavin Graves gently patted her back, "Yeah, not fun at all."
"And those dogs are so annoying! Barking all day and night, and they bite people!"
"Yeah, very annoying."
"I never want to go horse riding again!"
"Hmm, never again."

Cherry cried for a long time, and after crying, she started to curse.
She often did that, like a child who wasn't good at expressing herself, using anger to hide sadness and cursing to cover up her disappointment.
Later, she fell asleep in Gavin's arms, his clothes soaked all over.
Gavin helped her dry off a bit, carried her back to bed, and covered her with a blanket.
She must have been terribly aggrieved today; even after falling asleep, her brows remained slightly furrowed, her damp eyelashes still had tears, and her delicate nose was red.
So pitiful…
