Cherry's tone was leisurely and soft, phrase by phrase, but to the doctor, it sounded like thunderclaps!
He fell on his bottom, bottles and jars scattering everywhere, stammering, "You! You... how did you know?!"
"Enough, don't scare him anymore," Nathaniel Summers frowned slightly, "It's wasting time."
Cherry pouted her lips, "I'm just afraid he'll do something foolish and get his whole family into trouble needlessly."
The doctor on the ground trembled even more.
Nathaniel sighed softly, having given up hope. He picked up a bottle of medicine, shook it, expertly drew it into a syringe, and then had Cherry undo her buttons to expose her shoulder, before injecting the medicine into her upper arm.
After the incident, they took away many medical instruments and drugs from the clinic, leaving behind three stacks of banknotes. The doctor, in the end, didn't report the incident.
Nathaniel took Cherry to board a bus heading for the suburbs.
