"Mother and Big Brother said they'll come to the Capital Province to visit you in a few days." It was only after closing the door that James Black remembered he hadn't mentioned this to Jane Sampson yet.
"That's wonderful." Jane Sampson was overjoyed, "Did you see Mom and Brother today?"
"Yes, I did. Mom even gave me several peace buckles that she prayed for at the incense offering, one for each of us, including Peter Gingery, our house, one each. Yours is in my coat pocket, along with mine." James Black pointed to the coat hanging next to him.
"Give it to me, and also get me that photo of yours." Jane Sampson sat on the bed, holding her mobile phone.
James Black handed the peace buckle to her, and she took it.
It was a jade peace buckle, and the jade seemed quite valuable. It was small, about the size of the nail on James Black's thumb, tied with a red rope.
Jane Sampson immediately put it around her neck.
