"But before marrying her, I'd give her a choice. I'd marry her, but the only thing I could give her would be the title of James Black's wife. Beyond that, I wouldn't be able to give her anything else. I'd probably spend most years stationed at the guard team base. If she doesn't mind, then I'll marry her." That was a straightforward answer.
Because the scenario Jane Sampson posed was indeed a bit hard to imagine.
"Hmph! Men really are all selfish pigs! They're all lechers!" Jane Sampson snorted, turned her head, and was about to walk away.
James Black, baffled, got scolded out of nowhere by Jane Sampson. He added water to the pot and followed her out.
"Jane Sampson, be fair. If I really were the kind of man you're talking about, in the past, you'd probably rather die than marry me, wouldn't you?" James Black sneered.
Seeing Jane Sampson standing there with a thoughtful look, James Black chuckled, "Haha, women are all selfish pigs too."
