"That David-whatever mocked Julie for overestimating herself, saying Julie knew perfectly well he had a fiancée but still tried to seduce him. Wasn't it just a tacit understanding to fool around? Yet she actually dared to dream about marrying him. What a pipe dream," Peter shrugged. "Then Julie said she wanted to go fight that David-whatever."
"David Chip," Thomas, tired of hearing Peter's vague descriptions, finally interjected with the correct name.
"Yes, yes, David Chip," Peter nodded furiously, "That's the name."
"Get to the point," Yvette urged.
"Obviously Julie couldn't beat David Chip. That guy's despicable, but he wouldn't hit a woman. He dodged, and then his fiancée immediately announced she wanted to break off the engagement. She told Julie that if she wanted a man like him, she could take him; then she coolly turned around, got in her car, and drove off in style."
