"Hilary Candi." Aldana Candi called her softly, looking at her noticeably thinner face, but she didn't voice the words, "Are you doing well?"
Hilary Candi walked over in high heels, skillfully took a drag from her cigarette, and stood in front of Aldana Candi, saying lightly, "You seem to be doing quite well."
Aldana Candi paused, "No."
Hilary Candi smiled slightly; her face no longer had the youthful innocence of an eighteen-year-old girl. She slowly exhaled a smoke ring and said slowly, "Among us, you're the one doing the best. They're all saying you've struck up with the island's owner and don't have to serve that bunch of disgusting men anymore." She squinted at her face and then chuckled, "Hmm... you still look the same as when you first arrived, so those rumors must be true, right? You're really with Steven Balance?"
