Tilly Flower involuntarily twitched the corner of her lips.
She turned her head and said resentfully, "I didn't ask you to bring them. You have the nerve to lose them."
Sophia Phoenix listened to her words, so angry she truly wanted to rip open her chest to see if this woman had no heart at all. Hating him was one thing, but the children were innocent. What was the point in taking out her anger on them?
After a while, the maid brought Mia and Spencer over.
Both children had just woken up and had been crying recently; their delicate little faces still had teardrops on them. Upon seeing Sophia Phoenix, they both stretched out their arms wanting to be embraced.
Sophia Phoenix walked over, picked up both children, and said to the maid, "I'll watch them here. You can go busy yourself."
The maid nodded, whispering, "I'll go check if dinner is ready."
Tilly Flower, holding a blanket, carefully observed the two children.
