Keira Leaf ran over to the car, grinning awkwardly as she spoke, "Jacob Sydney, my tire got punctured. Could you give me a lift?"
Joshua Sulliven didn't say a word, put his sunglasses back on, and acted as if he hadn't heard her, ready to drive away.
Keira Leaf clung to the car window, hurried to catch up, and spoke softly, "Jacob Sydney, we're coworkers, don't be so heartless, okay? Besides, we're neighbors; could you just give me a lift, please?"
Joshua Sulliven still looked at her coldly, meeting her gaze full of expectation, and said indifferently, "No."
"Jacob Sydney, don't be so ruthless, just this once, give me a lift just this once, okay? I definitely won't bother you next time." Keira Leaf said softly, her eyes full of pitiful pleading.
"Why should I?" Joshua Sulliven's tone was still very bland, as if he was negotiating a deal with her.
