Victoria Carter immediately took the gun from her waist, pressed it against Stuart Truman's lower back, and said coldly, "You better pray he lets us through, otherwise you're useless."
Not long after, Victoria Carter's phone rang again. She glanced at the number and handed it to Stuart Truman.
Stuart Truman instantly stated the name of the Capital Army Commander he was with. The other side was silent for a few seconds, then asked again, "Did you just say you know Commander Bell?"
"Yes."
"Your name?"
"Stuart Truman."
When the words fell, the other side hung up without saying more.
Meanwhile, as soon as the soldiers brought the military dogs over to the truck, the dogs started barking around each of the truck's tires, their barking causing Victoria Carter's throat to feel dry.
Stuart Truman's gaze fell on those military dogs, narrowing his eyes.
