Keira Leaf wasn't asleep yet, she had been watching TV. Hearing the sound of the door opening, she didn't turn her head, but gently turned off the TV and lay back in the quilt, turning her back to Joshua Sulliven, seemingly not intending to pay him any attention.
Joshua Sulliven stood by the bedside staring at her for a while, then lay down beside her, tightly wrapping her in his arms from behind, as if only then did he feel secure.
Keira Leaf couldn't help but pout her little mouth. The body heat through the pajamas made her feel reassured as always.
A week later, Joshua Sulliven just changed into his clothes, ready to go to the company building, when his mobile phone vibrated. He glanced at the text message, his eyebrow furrowed immediately, and Keira Leaf couldn't help but ask, "What's wrong?"
"Victoria has made a move."
