Joshua Sulliven furrowed his brows and, after hearing her voice, calmed down slightly: "An interview?"
"It was supposed to be, but now I'm in the guest room."
On the other end, there was a moment of silence before Joshua Sulliven slowly spoke: "Why are you there?"
"Joshua Sulliven, I think I might have been slept with," Keira Leaf said nonchalantly.
In an instant, the other end of the mobile phone fell completely silent, as though the entire world had stilled. After several seconds, Joshua Sulliven's voice returned, laced with cold hostility: "Who? I'll butcher him."
"I don't know either…" Keira Leaf turned to look at the messy room, deducing that there had likely been a fight here.
The microphone went quiet again, and for two or three whole minutes, Joshua Sulliven didn't say a word.
Keira Leaf couldn't help but ask: "Joshua Sulliven, why aren't you saying anything?"
"No time."
"You're very busy?" Keira Leaf frowned slightly.
"Yeah," Joshua Sulliven responded curtly.
