Ben Lucas not only nodded in public to confirm it again, but also released Jennifer Connor's collar as if no one else were around and sat next to the hospital bed, carefully avoiding Harrison Lucas's left rear shoulder wound, and reached out to embrace him.
Ben Lucas: "That's right, Harrison Lucas and I like each other, and we are dating. Moreover, we are not just dating but planning to get married, to give each other the commitment of marriage. So..."
Saying this, Ben Lucas turned his head, casting a sidelong glance at the nearly shocked Commander Nelson.
He said softly, "Commander, Harrison Lucas and I are going to request marriage leave and won't be able to return to report for duty temporarily. As for how long the leave will be, you should understand... That award ceremony you mentioned, we won't be able to attend either."
