"Did you tell your family about Yasmin Vernon's accident?" Harrison Yale, who had been silent, suddenly spoke, his thin lips giving voice to the question.

"It wasn't me. I never mentioned it. My mom values family background highly and always hoped I'd find a wife from a similar standing. When I insisted on marrying Yasmin, she was strongly opposed, so I only ever mentioned good things about Yasmin to her and never talked about anything negative, let alone such a big matter."
"Then how would she know? Surely Yasmin wouldn't have run to her and said anything herself," Harrison Yale raised an eyebrow, his expression becoming hard to decipher.
They seemed to only see Yasmin's suicide attempt, forgetting that there must be something behind her actions that was being overlooked.
