The texture feels off...
Emma Aiden froze for a second, then looked up, meeting Harrison Yale's chilling Dark Eyes, and stepped back in fear.
"I didn't do it on purpose... You suddenly appeared..." Emma Aiden stammered nervously.
"Straighten your tongue when you speak." Harrison Yale frowned, looking at her frightened expression.
Was he really that scary?
Seeing her so frightened, anyone would think he had hit her.
"I didn't mean to hit you." Emma Aiden calmed down and hurriedly explained.
"Just now?" Harrison Yale raised his eyebrow, a hint of a smile playing on his lips.
Her feeble strength was hardly a hit.
But since she thought it was, it's just as well...
"Emma Aiden, I originally didn't want to argue with you, but you've been with me from Company until now, without doing anything I felt was sincere. I'm finding it hard not to suspect that you took the chance to vent your dissatisfaction just now."
