"Don't meddle." Charles White opened his lips slowly.
Seeing the phone screen dimming as the call had ended, he finally reached for the red wine glass and took a sip.
The excuse of having work to do was just that, an excuse.
He knew Zoe Yale wouldn't bear to leave his mom unattended. If he was around, she would only urge him to find a way to take his mom away.
Then avoid him.
Even with his words so clear, she still took it as a joke.
"I get it now, you can't handle it yourself and plan to have your mom help you chase your wife, insidious!" Nigel Austin raised his wine glass and clinked it with his, eyes full of playful mischief.
"Since you're so free, why don't I find something for you to do? Use your White Family connections to help me find someone in Saba City!" Nigel Austin recalled something and a sharp gleam flashed in his eyes.
"Who?" Charles White raised an eyebrow.
From what he knew, Nigel Austin's family power was similar to his, yet he needed help finding someone.
