In the office room, the executive assistant who had been following William Frans quickly approached and looked them up and down.
His eyes were filled with disdain.
"Two newcomers dare to talk back to their superior, really just newcomers, you don't understand any rules at all, but since you'll be following me in the future, I advise you to be more observant, don't drag me down," he said.
After finishing his statement, he handed them two stacks of documents and pointed toward a nearby seat.
"Here, this will be your workstation. You can't leave today until you have sorted out these investment reports and written down your opinions," he instructed.
The executive assistant then scuttled off to William Frans' office desk, obsequiously rubbing his shoulders.
Zoe Yale silently cursed in her heart before carrying the documents in her hand over to her seat.
She had barely sat down when she couldn't help but glance at Charles White.
