Before Lan Yue could turn around again, she heard the sizzling sound of flesh burning on the TV, followed closely by Lan Huan's screams.
"John, make them stop."
Lan Yue glanced back and hurriedly shouted at John.
"Stop?"
John sneered, looking at her, "Why should I stop?"
Lan Yue bit her lip, "What on earth do you want?"
John lifted his leg, walking forward with an elegant stride, raising his hand to lift her chin.
"Darling, you're too tense. I'm just here to bring my runaway fiancée back to attend our wedding, that's all."
Lan Yue turned her head, avoiding his hand, and gritted her teeth.
"I'm not your fiancée, and I won't go back with you to marry you. If you plan to use Lan Huan's life to threaten me, then suit yourself."
With that, she turned around and walked towards the doorway.
John curved his lips into a light smile, not stopping her departure.
