"So where was I? Umm...taxes! Yes, that's what happened."

Suddenly, the soft mechanical hums were shattered by footsteps. Loud. Purposeful. Not mechanical.
"Hide!" Izuku hissed, ducking behind a hydro-pillar.
The group scrambled behind cover—greenery rustled, air held.
From around the corner, two figures emerged. One was tall and wiry, with unnaturally long arms and twitchy movements. The other was stocky and wore a patchy utility suit loaded with makeshift weapons.
"...I saw something," the lanky one said, eyes narrowing.
Tension spiked—but then—
"HEY!"A loud voice rang out as Katsuki Bakugo stormed into the hallway, hands in his pockets like he owned the building. Beside him, Eijiro Kirishima followed, looking around with the relaxed confusion of someone who had taken one too many wrong turns.
"We got lost," Kirishima added sheepishly, nodding toward the villains. "You security guys know how to get to the—?"
The taller villain snapped. "We're not security."
Tension exploded.
⚔️ Quick Response
In a split second, the lanky villain lashed out—his arm stretching like a whip. But before the limb reached its target—
"Engine ON!"Iida blurred into motion, shooting from cover like a bullet. His Recipro Extend activated mid-run, and he pivoted with a clean burst, driving a blazing kick into the villain's chest and knocking him into the wall.
"Are you two alright?" Iida asked, standing tall as steam hissed from his calves.
Bakugo growled. "'Course we are, Four-Eyes. You're lucky I didn't blow that guy up first."
Kirishima gave a thumbs-up. "Man, great timing though."
⬆️ Climbing Under Fire
Meanwhile, Yaoyorozu had quickly assessed the battlefield. Her hands glowed as she activated her Creation Quirk, crafting a metal platform lift shaped like a spring-mounted pillar.
"Midoriya! You're going up!"
Izuku nodded, stepping onto the platform. "I'll scout ahead and secure the floor above—!"
The platform bounced once, but Izuku didn't reach the ledge.
"Too low—!"
"Take these!"Mineta, surprisingly useful, pulled three sticky spheres from his head and slapped them onto the soles of Izuku's boots.
"They're super bouncy. Don't ask."
With a running leap and a well-timed spring from Yaoyorozu's device, Izuku rocketed up—his feet sticking for a moment to the glass ceiling—and then flipped over the edge, landing on the floor above.
He waved down. "I'll start pulling people up—now!"
⚙️ Escalation Imminent
Below, explosions cracked as Bakugo launched a barrage of concussive blasts into the ground around the villains, forcing them back into cover. Kirishima's arms shimmered into jagged red stone as he braced himself like a wall.
Meanwhile, Iida covered the others as Jirou, Yaoyorozu, and Melissa moved behind crates, readying for lift.
Overhead, as Izuku began hoisting the others one by one, a distant alarm echoed, deeper than the others.
Melissa's expression dropped.
"That sound… that's the auxiliary security bot alert. They know someone's climbing."

⚔️ Lower Floors: Kuro & Todoroki
In front of a flickering, half-smashed elevator door, Kurokami Tenshin and Shoto Todoroki glared at each other, voices echoing through the steel hallways.
"I clearly immobilized them first. That alone should net me at least 20% of your points," Todoroki stated flatly, adjusting his sleeves as if finishing a business transaction.
Kuro's cherubic face contorted into a childlike scowl, his cheeks puffing out.
"AS IF! You're blatantly robbing me! I could've finished them all myself. I was clearly going easy on you!" Kuro jabbed a finger forward, his eyes blazing with purple Ki.
Todoroki narrowed his eyes coolly.
"Really? Because I didn't even activate my flames, and my ice was at maybe 10% output. I should get bonus points for self-restraint," he said, his voice completely steady.
Kuro sputtered in indignation.
"Weakening yourself in a fight shouldn't be praised! But fine… fine! Let's do this—whoever takes out more enemies from here on out gets the points!"
Todoroki gave a small nod, satisfied.
"In that case… if one of us defeats the final boss first, they instantly win the whole game."
A slow grin spread on Kuro's face.
"Agreed."
🚪 The Shaft of Opportunity
Without hesitation, Kuro lunged forward, purple Ki surging like coiled lightning around his arms. With a sharp CRACK, he pried open the elevator doors, revealing a hollow shaft plunging into darkness below and rising above into unseen heights.
"So… I can fly," Kuro said, his grin mischievous and fanged. "What about you, buddy?"
Todoroki silently stepped forward, placed his foot at the edge, and began to craft elegant, frosted steps spiraling upward along the shaft. With each footfall, delicate ice creaked under his weight but held steady.
Kuro floated beside him, eyes wide with admiration.
"Wow… that's actually pretty elegant. Almost makes me jealous."
Todoroki kept moving, one eyebrow slightly raised.
"I'm not acting. I just am this cool."
Kuro giggled, his floating turning into little flips as if he were weightless.
"Hah! You're starting to sound like me. Be careful; soon, you'll be all smiles and sparkles."
Todoroki smirked faintly—an expression so rare it nearly made Kuro freeze mid-air.
"I'm just adapting. After all, I will become the No.1 Hero someday… I might even consider you as my sidekick."
Kuro's eye twitched.
"Pfft—Todoroki, that's the best joke you've made yet."
And so, with childish banter echoing, the two rivals ascended the tower together—one gliding silently, the other stepping with dignified precision, each preparing for the battles ahead.

[Auther: What is the scaling? Well, it's more of a snowball growth but I'd say S4 by now in terms of the character and Kuro is well...he's just Goku so he's always relevant, stop asking.
