Seeing Malekith's injuries rapidly heal, Charles sneered, "Do you know why I brought you to Jotunheim? It is to avoid missing my attacks."
He gestured to the surroundings, "Here, the space is not weak, unaffected by the Convergence of the Nine Realms."
With a clap of his hands, Charles activated his jutsu, "Multi-Shadow Clone Jutsu!"
"Poof! Poof! Poof!"
Countless clones of Charles appeared all around, so many that they stretched out as far as the eye could see.
"Let me end this with my ultimate technique, Malekith!"
Charles grinned, then added, "By the way, did you know your name sounds like a dish?"
In Malekith's confused gaze, each of Charles's clones began preparing different powerful jutsu.
"Big Ball Rasengan!"
"Wind Style: Rasenshuriken!"
"Fire Style: Great Flame Rasengan!"
"Vermilion Rasengan!"
"Lightning Style: Kirin!"
"Water Style: Water Shark Bullet Jutsu!"
"Tsukuyomi!"
"Amaterasu!"
"Lava Style: Melting Explosion!"
"Scorch Style: Scorching Sun!"
"Morning Peacock!"
"Paper Art: Angel's Judgement!"
"C3!"
"Chakra Blade: True One Slash!"
"Wood Style: Four Pillar Prison Technique!"
"Crystal Style: Crystal Dragon Descent!"
Each clone launched their unique ultimate jutsu, charging at Malekith from all directions.
Malekith attempted to summon the power of the Aether, but Tsukuyomi immediately paralyzed him, rendering him unable to move.
At the same time, the Wood Style: Four Pillar Prison restrained him just long enough for the countless clones to strike.
"Boom! Boom! Boom!"
A series of explosions followed, sounding like the earth itself was being torn apart. The massive barrage of jutsu continued to rain down on Malekith, shaking the landscape for a full three minutes.
Meanwhile, Charles hovered in the air, his vibranium sword in hand, stained with blood.
If Malekith somehow survived this onslaught, Charles was prepared to use Shiki Fujin to send him to the afterlife permanently.
After all, unlike Charles, Malekith did not possess immortality—he was certain this battle would end with Malekith's death.
Before proceeding, though, Charles took a moment to restore his chakra. His consciousness entered the system space, where he recruited the three members of the Seven Ninja Swordsmen he had previously purchased.
In an instant, 15 units of chakra replenished his reserves, and his maximum chakra capacity increased as well. The swordsmanship knowledge of the three also transferred into his mind.
Having completed his preparations, Charles turned his attention back to the battlefield, where the explosions had finally subsided.
Hovering above what had once been a mountain range, but was now a vast crater, Charles began searching for any sign of Malekith.
He landed cautiously on the now-flat battlefield, his eyes scanning the crystallized remains of the Aether particles, staying alert for any potential surprise attack from his foe.
After thoroughly inspecting the area, Charles couldn't find any trace of Malekith. He picked up a shard of the Aether particles and injected energy into it.
The next second, all the Aether particles on the ground floated up and merged into a liquid, suspended in mid-air.
Ding! Rechargeable item detected. Do you want to recharge?
Hearing the system's prompt, Charles knew that Malekith had been completely annihilated, having lost control over the Aether.
Recharge!
Ding! Recharge successful. You received 9,800 coins and unlocked the artifact: Crimson Gourd!
Hearing the system notification, Charles smiled—it matched his expectations.
Before his eyes, the liquid Aether particles disappeared, transforming into a red gemstone. Charles picked up the Reality Stone and inserted it into the Infinity Gauntlet on his right hand.
"Clink!"
The Reality Stone immediately embedded itself into the gauntlet, and a red energy surged from the gauntlet, spreading up Charles's arm before stopping.
"Ugh—ah!"
As the energy surged through him, Charles clenched his fist into a claw, enduring the immense power for a full second before it subsided.
Now, Charles had fully adapted to the power of two Infinity Stones, able to control them freely.
However, looking at the now-calm gauntlet, he realized that to wield the full power of all six stones, he would need to continue strengthening himself.
He thought, 'To use all six Infinity Stones without harm, I may need to become an Otsutsuki.'
But Charles was confident that that day wasn't too far away.
...
Greenwich-
By now, Thor had already wiped out the remaining Dark Elf soldiers. As the Convergence passed, he frowned, "Where did Charles go?"
In the next moment, a space portal appeared before him, and Charles stepped out.
Thor looked at him and asked, "What happened to Malekith?"
Charles smiled, "I killed him."
Thor broke into a wide grin, "Haha, I knew you wouldn't let me down."
He then asked in a lower voice, "You got the Aether, right?"
Charles nodded, "Got it."
Charles glanced toward Ginny, Tsunade, and the others in the distance, and said, "The enemy's been dealt with. Time to head home."
Ginny ran over and asked, "That spaceship should count as part of our spoils, right?"
Charles looked at the distant ship and nodded, "It counts!"
In a flash, Charles appeared beneath the ship, now empty of Dark Elves. He touched the ship, and his chakra enveloped it entirely.
The next second, the ship vanished from sight.
With that done, Charles turned to the group and said, "Back to base!"
He waved his hand, summoning a large space portal that led back to his base.
Quickly, Ginny led the group through the portal and returned to the base. Charles turned to Tsunade and Minato, "Let's go, it's time to head home."
Soon after, everyone returned to the New York base, leaving S.H.I.E.L.D. to clean up the battlefield. As for the remaining Dark Elf soldiers and weapons that Charles didn't take, those would be S.H.I.E.L.D.'s reward for doing the cleanup.
Back at the base, Thor embraced Jane tightly, "The enemy's defeated. You can live in peace now."
Charles then addressed the group, "We've just averted a universe-wide crisis. I think we need to celebrate our victory!"
Thor grinned at the mention of a celebration—his favorite thing. The werewolves also erupted in cheers, as parties and feasts were their favorite too.
"Ginny, this one's on you," Charles said.
Ginny nodded, "Got it!"
Charles turned to Tsunade, "I need to sort through the spoils of battle. See you at the party tonight!"
With that, Charles used the Hiraishin technique and instantly returned to his room.
