Chapter 826 - Chapter 826: Aether Particles

Seeing herself in an unfamiliar place, Jane shouted, "Ayan, Darcy!"

But there was no response.

Meanwhile, Ayan, witnessing Jane's sudden disappearance, sprinted toward the spot where she vanished.

"Bang!"

The wall Jane had passed through did not transport Ayan as well. Instead, he slammed into the wall, creating a large dent and nearly collapsing the entire structure.

Lyle rushed over, "What happened, Ayan?"

Ayan shook his head, "Something big has happened. Notify Lord Charles immediately."

Ayan grabbed his phone and quickly dialed Charles.

At the base, Charles Doyle noticed the call from Ayan, the werewolf assigned to protect Jane. He knew something must have occurred.

"Ayan, what happened?"

"Lord Charles, Jane suddenly disappeared right in front of us. Here's what happened..." Ayan explained the situation.

After listening, Charles nodded, "I understand. I'll come over and check things out. Keep an eye on Darcy and the others. Make sure they don't experience the same."

"Understood, Lord Charles."

...

In the strange dimension, Jane saw a massive stone pillar emitting a red glow in the center. Curious, she approached it.

Walking around the pillar, Jane noticed the strange red liquid inside, marveling at it. In the next instant, the Aether particles flowed directly into her body.

At the edge of the universe, the Dark Elf ship suddenly came to life. On its throne, Malekith awakened.

Watching his people stir from their slumber within the ship, Malekith declared, "The Aether has awakened us. The Convergence has begun once again."

Meanwhile-

In Asgard-

Thor arrived at the control center for the Bifröst Bridge. Heimdall, the guardian, greeted him.

"You're late," Heimdall said.

Thor sighed, "Sometimes celebrations are more exhausting than battles."

Heimdall clearly wasn't buying it, "Then you must be doing something wrong."

Thor laughed, "Perhaps."

"How are the stars?"

Gazing at the cosmos before him, Heimdall replied, "They shine as brightly as ever."

"I can see the Nine Realms and billions of lives from here."

Heimdall sheathed his sword and looked at Thor, "Remember when I told you about the Convergence?"

Thor nodded, "Yes, when the realms align. It's almost here, isn't it?"

Heimdall walked to Thor's side and said, "This cosmic event hasn't happened since before I became the guardian."

"Few can sense it. Even fewer can see it."

"Though it may bring danger, it is truly magnificent."

Thor, staring at the stars, said, "I don't see anything."

Heimdall glanced at him, "Perhaps because it's not the beauty you're looking for."

Thor smiled, then asked, "How is she?"

"Your mortal? She's quite clever. She doesn't realize it yet, but she's researching the Convergence herself."

"In fact..." At this moment, Heimdall suddenly stopped.

Sensing something was wrong, Thor immediately asked, "What's the matter?"

Heimdall, puzzled, replied, "I can't see her anymore."

...

Charles used Merlin's magic array to teleport himself to the scene instantly.

Facing the three werewolves, Charles asked, "What's the situation?"

Ayan shook his head, "So far, we haven't found any trace of Miss Jane. We've studied the spot where she disappeared but found nothing."

He then turned to Darcy, saying, "This lady chose to report the incident to the London police. She's really worried about Jane's safety."

Hearing that the police had already been contacted, Charles remained unfazed, "No problem."

Darcy looked at Charles and asked, "Mr. Charles, Jane won't be in danger, right?"

"Take me to the scene first."

Inside the building, Charles immediately sensed the space was distorted. Without strong spatial positioning abilities, using teleportation here could easily send someone to another dimension.

"The spatial magnetic field here is extremely chaotic. Jane probably accidentally entered a different dimension."

Darcy, shocked, exclaimed, "Another world?"

Charles glanced at her and said, "Just wait here. Because of the spatial instability, Jane might come back on her own soon."

...

At this moment, Jane's soul was enveloped by the Aether particles, and five hours had passed. When Jane opened her eyes again, she found herself back in the warehouse.

Outside, Charles suddenly looked toward the warehouse and said, "Jane is back."

A second later, Darcy saw Jane running out of the warehouse. She turned to Charles, exclaiming, "Oh my gosh, how did you know?"

Darcy ran over to Jane, "Jane, where did you go?"

Looking around at the police cars and seeing Charles sitting nearby, Jane asked, "You didn't call the police, did you?"

"I can't believe I've troubled Mr. Charles. I'm so sorry."

Darcy replied, "What else could I do?"

"Don't call the police! Mr. Charles is here; there's no need to involve the police."

"And once the police are involved, S.H.I.E.L.D. will know, and this place will immediately become another Area 51 under lockdown."

"Do you know how important a gravity anomaly field that we can study freely is?"

"Our only opponents are some kids."

As Jane spoke, rain suddenly began to fall from the sky, but no raindrops landed over her or Charles.

Seeing this, Charles knew Thor must be arriving soon. After all, he had only used magic to keep the rain off himself, while Jane's situation was clearly the work of either Thor or Heimdall.

Darcy, hearing Jane's complaints, shouted, "Jane, you were missing for five hours!"

"And Mr. Charles said that reporting it won't affect anything. This gravity field is going to disappear soon."

Jane, shocked, asked, "What?"

She then turned to Charles and noticed that although it was raining heavily outside, no rain was falling over her or Charles.

Darcy, confused, remarked, "This is so weird."

Jane looked around and said, "It must be Mr. Charles protecting us. No rain is falling over him either."

Jane and Darcy walked over to Charles.

"I'm really sorry for troubling you to come here," Jane said. She pointed to the sky and added, "Thank you for protecting us."

Charles shook her head, "It's not me protecting you. Look over there."

Following Charles's direction, Jane saw Thor standing in the rain.
