Chapter 69 Fiella's Interlude II
The young Shade stood with her fellows eyes locked onto Zalaph as he gave each team their mission. As the Shade assigned specifically to Isabella she did not leave the room in droves like the others. Instead, Fiella waited.
Soon enough, she was the only one in the room with Zalaph and his apprentice. She stands expectant. Her duties were becoming more and more involved—the further the EXL investigation went along. The conspiracy was becoming an ordeal to keep up with.
Luckily for her—her liege assigned other Shades to do a lot of the groundwork. And Lady Isabella kept her dog working on it as well. It gave her a bit less stress for the day.
"Fiella." The Shade places her hand over chest and inclines herself in a sharp bow once her name is spoken.
"Yes."
"The Sulkan Mercenaries that Princess Isabella has…hired for what she is planning in the capital do you trust them?"
Fiella' hesitates before speaking.
