Katie broke down ,"NOOOOOOOO!!!" She was the first member to the squad, seeing him gone was devastating. Everyone gathered around her as she started crying. Apollo looked at them, he hadn't been around the man long, but he knew that he was a good man, a man who didn't deserve to be left behind. Apollo shed a single tear that held all of the helplessness of his actions, he couldn't save anyone.
Apollo looked away ,"We have to find Earth guys…" Cias joined him ,"We know, just give us a sec." After a little while, they all gathered together and piled their energy together, multiplying their speed together to zap through space, back to their home FWOOMP. From a moon's distance away, they stared at their world. They hadn't seen this place in so long, so they stared. Apollo moved forwards and landed on the space station for the interplanetary military. His group followed slowly behind, he walked up to the front desk. Glinda was excited to see him again ,"Hey Apollo! Heard you guys fought that guy who invaded earth. Dan was his name? How are you? How is John?" Apollo wordlessly stared at the woman, until he finally spoke ,"John got trapped, he couldn't make it back in time." Glinda's mouth opened slightly, in disbelief.
Apollo walked past her, and she said to him ,"This isn't your fault." The only thing Apollo could think to himself was (Yes it is, I wasn't strong enough). He placed a lot of blame on himself, if he was just a little stronger or if he could've been a little faster, he could have gotten him out of the spiritual realm as well. Apollo left everyone behind as he went to the barracks, he lay in his bed, blaming himself. Apollo repeatedly spoke to himself ,"You're useless. You think you're strong, why couldn't you fucking save him then." He had wanted to be strong, first to defend people when he was younger, then to just be strong. He selfishly wanted strength to do what he wanted, but what did that do for him? He almost completely forgot about others around him, his personal growth became the most important thing, nothing else mattered to him but strength for himself. He realized all this in one single moment. Apollo had a hard time going to sleep, his mind not stopping a single moment, reminding him (You're alone).
