Apollo's face scrunched in pain as he slash the forearm of the creature SLASH. Apollo furrowed his eyebrows and smiled after escaping Kegra's grip ,"Now this is a fight I can get around!!!" Kegra punched forwards, Apollo barely dodged out of the way, slicing at his arm again SLASH SLASH SLASH SLASH. Apollo's quick maneuvers with his sword were blurs to Kegra, but that was alright. Kegra started parrying the swings from Apollo TINK TINK TINK. Kegra realized that the opponent in front of him was for his own growth, but then again, he was the exact same thing for Apollo.
Apollo was anywhere near perfection in his swordsmanship, but it was hard to tell from an outside perspective. TING TING TING TING Apollo could tell that Kegra's combat experience was anything from ordinary. When one got to such a level of mastery, you could view an opponent's past through the techniques that have been developed. They weren't only reading each other's moves, but also their stories. In those stories, the characters within their pasts speak to them about what not to do and what to proceed with. After all, the souls of those who have fallen rise up in the shadow of their killer.
Kegra boasted a long past, like many spiritual beings, he born from the emotions of those from the physical realm. He fought from planet to planet, battling against the imaginations of dreamers. Apollo loved fights like this, the extensive experience from Kegra's past would boost Apollo's fighting capabilities that much more. Kegra boosted his power, activating Art: Water. Apollo smirked and activated his own Art: Water Slayer, which he used to fight against Narphun a few years ago. Kegra looked confused ,"This technique is…unique?" ,"Something I figured out for myself in fact, Water Slayer." They backed up and bolted towards one another, TINK KABOOM. The ground split open at the immense pressure of these two extremely powerful beings. Although they were both strong, Kegra was the one who had lost ground to Apollo, he jumped backwards and ran around the back of Apollo. He didn't move, Kegra then unfurrowed his claws SHWINK and swiped at Apollo SWISH but his hand went right through what he saw. SLASH Apollo sliced the back of Kegra ,"Sorry about the refraction clone, I just wanted to see if you fell for it." Kegra turned around and slashed through another Refraction Clone ,"This art really means nothing without Conceal, but it doesn't really matter if you know that." When Kegra looked up there were hundreds of versions of Apollo all around, he was dazed, his teeth clenched in anxiousness ,"The unique thing about these clones is that they can actually function as attacks in and of themselves."
Kegra roared and released a massive amount of aura RAAAHAHAHHHHH, destroying the clones, he looked around frantically, trying to find Apollo. STIK Apollo put his blade to the side of Kegra's throat and just as Kegra turned around to face Apollo, he followed through SLASH. THUMP SPURT Blood gushed from Kegra's head as his body fell to the ground. Apollo knew that Kegra was spiritual in nature so he stabbed into Kegra's chest and imbued a massive energy within every atom, forcing every connection in his form to become undone, this made sure he didn't get back up. ,"So what's next," Apollo said, looking at the feast of fights that lay out before him.
John closed portals, one after the other, but they kept appearing (Damn it!). His head screamed warning signals and whatever he did felt useless. Just then, he felt an energy tickle his neck, one that gave him a faint sense of remembrance. He looked back to see a man who had hid his face. John's curiosity grew as the arms of the man in front of him trembled. He reached for the cloak that covered his body, putting down his hood and underneath was a man John knew well. John's back swelled with sensations of cool realization ,"Dan, is that you?" His mouth quivered ,"Yes," his face showed longing, but his eyes revealed something deeper. They were filled with contempt, despair and rage. Dan's fist clenched ,"Now to finish what I started," he brought out his knife and stabbed at John, John's eyes widened as he summoned his claymore TINK.
