I giggled as Vadim pretended to be a big bad kitty while Tsuna and Niconora swung imaginary swords at him.
"You can't defeat me!" Vadim said, laughing exaggeratingly.
Tsuna giggled at his papa and swung his invisible sword. "I got your leggie, bad kitty!"
Niconora chimed in, her eyes sparkling with mischief. "And I'll get your tail!" She jumped forward, pretending to sneak around to grab Vadim's imaginary tail, making the scene all the more amusing.
Vadim dramatically clutched at his leg. "Noooo! You can't harm the mighty kitty!" He feigned desperation, rolling around on the floor while playfully pawing at them with exaggerated ferocity.
The sight of my family playing together made my heart swell. Tsuna's laughter rang like music, and even Niconora, normally more reserved, was caught up in the excitement of their little adventure. It was moments like this that reminded me of the joys of family life—the simple, whimsical joys that created cherished memories.
