Vadim swung his sword, grunting a droplets of sweat flew with each swing. He was practicing for his big match against Sir Eizan in a few days. His black hair, usually loose and flowing, was pulled back neatly today, tied at the nape of his neck. It made him look even more serious, more focused.
We were back in his village, a place where he always seemed to find peace, even amidst intense training. The familiar scent of woodsmoke and damp earth filled the air, a stark contrast to the grander, colder castle grounds.
Tsuna smiled up at his daddy and picked up a twig lying on the ground. He swung the twig like his daddy was, although his swings went side to side, lacking the coordination of a big kid.
Niconora watched her brother and walked over. She held a stick and swung it, copying her daddy like when she was little. Tsuna looked between his daddy and sister. A smile like my own covered his face.
