The curse mark was spreading at an alarming rate, and the sight made Jamie click his tongue in annoyance.

His command to the law of time caused cosmic energy to surge into Davina's body and Lapis' soul within it, halting the progression of the curse's activation.
That would pause the curse. But it wouldn't dispel it.
Even killing the undead ASB wouldn't remove this curse. That much had been proven.
They had killed the real one 450 million years ago, and the curse had lingered. Even after Amara's soul had passed on, the curse remained.
Clearly, the answer wasn't as simple as killing the caster.
Jamie had a method in mind, but he couldn't exactly use it now; not with an impending battle.
So, Lapis would have to wait.
