Alexander lay on a leather couch in his dimly lit living room, the television blaring loudly about some local news. He was dealing with another sleepless night, his mind finding the apartment too silent. Cold and devoid of life.
Which frustrated him to end because even the television wasn't working its magic like usual. He had gotten so used to there being another person around, it was strange to be alone now.
Not to mention his nightmares were getting worse when he did manage to sleep.
Maybe I should call that place… Alexander mused to himself as he gazed up at his apartment's white ceiling. I'm not getting any better and there's only so much makeup that can hide these eyebags.
Crystal's words from earlier that day had struck a nerve for him, but it also made him more aware of some major issues he had. He did tend to push people away, especially when bad things happened.
