"Crystal…" Maria started, but Crystal raised a hand.
"Don't." Crystal muttered before adding in a lower tone, "You knew this would come. I warned you. So, take responsibility and explain that little deal of yours. Because I'm not about to deal with Alexander losing his mind to guilt over this."
Maria went pale at her words, hands tightening around the handle of her purse. Alexander frowned at the sight, wondering what they two were going on about.
"I…" Maria began with trembling lips, but seemed to fail to find the right words to say.
"Either you spill the beans in the next two seconds or I'm doing it." Crystal stated, not budging an inch. She ran a hand through her hair and sighed in annoyance, "I should have never stayed quiet about this after I learnt the truth…"
"Keep quiet about what?" Alexander narrowed his eyes at his mother and sister.
