The night was dark and the thunderstorm was hovering above the city. A nation wide panic had been seen over the country of Columbina. The nation with huge resources was able to rise from the effects of being colonialized due to the fiery hearts of its residents for freedom and dignity. Yet the country was able to rise to the forefront due to the work of a man known to the whole world. The man named Robert was born in 2300 and was able to rise from the National university of Maths of Atlanta. The paper he had written on Mathematics had made him famous world wide. He had returned to his home coutry Columbina in 2312 after 6 years of its founding. He got attached to the bureaucracy and with his connects all around the world he was able to support his country's rise.
His contribution had got him a lot of reputation in his country and later he reached the peak when he became the President of the country. He was able to rise to the top and he was happy and satisfied and hence he left the field of governance and became a pure researcher. He had researched the martial arts to make the human body reach the peak and the medicine he developed was praised all over the world.
But time passes and so does the human vitality. Robert was in peace staring at the roof of his house. He was visited by many people and he did not meet them. He did not want them to use him to glorify their political resume. He decided to be happy in the last moments and was eating his favorite food and reading the novel. The time did not last long before he felt a terrible pain rising from his heart. After some time the greatest man of the era had passed away.
Robert was much happy knowing that he had been reborn in another world. He was able to remember many things as he had permanent memory in his previous life and he had inherited it. He also remembered that he was gifted with immortality in this life as he was able to feel it in his body. He was the last scion of the knight family and since he was a well veritable noble the neighboring nobles supported him very much. This country and the whole continent paid much attention towards nobles and even thought different power struggles happen. the last line of the family was always protected. He was able to remember the time since he was born and he knew that his family died due to different fierce beasts attacking.
Robert turned and kept writing the book as fast as possible. He was able speed himself by a factor of ten as this was his special power as he was reborn in this world. The times when people were born with special powers were rare even in this world and happened every few thousand years. He was able to interact in normal manner in the speed of 10 times as a special state and was able to interact normally with fragile objects and he was also able to interact destructively as with 10 times the speed he was able to have his force magnified by 100 times. He also knew that he was able to share this power with multiple beings unlimitedly.
Robert looked at the dog he had trained with the familiar methods of his previous life and with his blessing and destructive speed modification, the dog could even bring down a horse or a well coated knight. He was looking at the letter inviting him to the Royal Institute of Nobles which could only be attended by lowest nobles of baron level. He was given full scholarship due to the fact that he was the last scion. He did not have any special affection towards his family as he was not able to interact with them much. But he wanted to kill the perpetrators and have his revenge.
Robert walked towards his butler Arnold who was a loyal person to his family. He was going to attend the institute as the graduates from the institutes had a minimum guarantee of the position of baron.
Robert said, "Remember to harvest the potatoes as soon as possible."
Arnold replied. "Yes sir. What are your plans about the idea to spread the seeds of potatoes. The Viscount Reed is interested in the seeds."
Robert said. "Just provide it to them and say that as long as they provide the 10 percent of the total harvest, they can get as much as they want in the first come basis. Say to them that I had registered in the Continental nobility for the patent."
Arnold replied. "Yes sir. What should we do about the engagement request from Baron Steed."
Robert said. "Reject it tactfully."
Arnold frowned and said. "But sir, you are already 16 years old and it is necessary for you to spread your seeds to save the family. There are no other person in the family if anything happens to you."
Robert smiled and replied. "Even if I have to get married then I can do so after graduating from the Royal Institute. With my position and the tall and handsome look would it be hard for me to find a wife. I can even try to make a damsel from a huge Marquis family to fall in love with me and help me rise my status."
Arnold said. "Yes sir. I would like to suggest my daughter to be taken along with you to the Academy as your attendant. She is a wonderful swordsman."
Robert said. "True. Try to find one more person to come with me as an attendant."
Arnold said. "Yes sir."
Robert walked away from Arnold and looked at the hills resting on the wall. He knew that this world was weird and much bigger than his previous planet in his previous life. He was able to find an iron ore mine in his territory. He was happy but he could not do so now as he was powerful enough to do so. He also wanted to use his power to speed up the growth of crops in his territory but he was not ready to be in the forefront of the political whirlpool for now. He kept looking at the hills, wanting to become strong enough to be the ruler of the world.
