The next day, Rozen and Edelweiss indeed left the Sword Peak and departed Edelberg.
As soon as they descended from Edelberg, they immediately ran into the group of Blazers at the mountain's base who had come to challenge Twin-Wings — and were met with instant harassment and provocation.
One must admit: the ignorant are fearless. Even though Rozen had cut loose here just yesterday and slaughtered a bunch of brazen fools without mercy, and Edelweiss alone was known to have once routed three hundred thousand troops, some people in this world will always be reckless enough to risk offending them both.
Some people are overconfident, assuming that if others can do something, so can they. Some self-important souls dismiss the tales of a lone fighter cleaving through armies as nothing but rumor and assume those stories are all showmanship.
Because they can't reach that realm themselves, they deny its existence.
People like that are everywhere in every world.
Those who came to challenge Edelweiss were exactly that sort of crowd.
Their fate need hardly be described.
Edelweiss showed them no mercy. Though she never left Rozen's side — holding his hand the entire time, much to the astonishment of bystanders — what shocked everyone more was the power she displayed.
The world's strongest swordswoman didn't even equip her Device, nor did she strike with her blade. With a single look, she released sword-aura that shredded her attackers until they were covered in wounds.
Worse still, some who had spoken lewdly or behaved like scoundrels were cut down on the spot by Edelweiss's sword-aura, with no quarter given.
This was a true "killing with a look" level of mastery.
Seeing that, Rozen realized:
"This girl's strength has grown a lot."
Indeed — in this world, only a few months had passed since Rozen last left, yet Edelweiss had improved by more than one tier.
Her growth wasn't merely due to contracting with Rozen.
Being contracted to Rozen and becoming his familiar had afforded Edelweiss a vast reservoir of his mana and certainly made her much stronger than before. But she didn't stop there — she kept honing her swordsmanship and improving her rank through discipline rather than relying solely on mana.
Thanks to that effort, she seemed to have broken through a previous ceiling and achieved remarkable advancement.
Previously, Edelweiss could already cleave space itself with pure sword technique; now she could release killing sword-aura by mere glance. If she let loose that aura at full range without restraint, people for hundreds of kilometers around might be slain instantly.
Such a level is truly terrifying.
Altera offered this assessment:
"Her power has reached Grand-class — she's not inferior to me."
Edelweiss had reached Grand-class by virtue of her technique. If Altera achieved Grand-class through a breakthrough in Saint Graph scale and raw power, Edelweiss had done so through mastery and skill!
Right now, Edelweiss's blade might be the most fearsome sword Rozen had ever seen.
Given that, and with the inexhaustible mana Rozen could provide — even High-Grade Mana — how far could she be pushed?
Probably to the point where Altera would need to bring forth her full might, even including Noble Phantasms, to stand a chance.
"You never told me any of this," Rozen said, astonished, to the woman who hadn't left his side for a step.
"Because you never asked," Edelweiss replied matter-of-factly, which left Rozen nearly speechless.
Come to think of it, he hadn't asked. Who would have expected that in only a few months she'd develop so much?
Edelweiss explained in her own way.
"Maybe because I contracted with you and learned of broader worlds and higher realms, I was able to break the limits of causality and reach this level," she said earnestly — whether in jest or sincerity, Rozen couldn't tell, and he rolled his eyes several times.
Still, that was no bad thing.
Thus the two left Edelberg and set out touring the world.
"Touring" here really just meant visiting acquaintances.
They met Stella in the Vermilion Empire, saw Ikki, and even met Shizuku and the students from Hangan Academy's student council.
As Edelweiss had said, Stella and her group were in the Vermilion Empire trying to negotiate with the royal family to prevent a world war; they were overjoyed to see Rozen and Edelweiss.
Word quickly spread: with both Tenkai and Twin-Wings appearing in person, the entire Vermilion court was stirred.
Nobles and even Saikyou Nene and Shinguuji Kurono arrived upon hearing the news to meet Rozen and Edelweiss.
Everyone reminisced, and then Stella, Ikki, and the others earnestly begged Rozen to intervene and stop the looming world war.
Rozen agreed.
There was only one reason.
"It's hardly any trouble."
And that very day the matter was settled.
By the next day, explosive reports rippled across the globe.
"Tenkai — the world's strongest Blazer — has reappeared and has challenged the Union, the League, and the Rebellion Army's three leaders."
"The three leaders refused battle, but that very night the headquarters of the three great powers on the surface inexplicably vanished — all three leaders died in battle, and the primary warfighting forces within the three powers were annihilated."
"In the end, the three powers decided together to sign a peace treaty: they would never wage war against one another for life. The guardians of that pact are Tenkai and Twin-Wings; should anyone breach the treaty, the two will personally intervene and eliminate the violator."
With that, true peace finally came to that world.
The whole world rejoiced on that day.
It was decided that the day would be commemorated as World Peace Day — also known as Twin-Wings Day.
The peace accord itself was named the Tenkai Treaty.
— Tenkai.
— Twin-Wings.
Those two titles not only became world-famous, they were destined to be remembered through the ages.
On that same day, Rozen and Edelweiss left that world together and moved on to other worlds, continuing their travels.
