"Seems like the preperations are done." Alice wiped her sweat away as she felt a tether attach to herself. A flow of energy helping her 'back up' her memories while making sure her mind isn't overloaded by the information.
"Somewhat. But we have to sync it up and clear the memory every so often. There's only so much the machine can handle. If too much is deleted at once, even the machine can't help." Cayla warned, sprawling out on the ground in exhaustion.
Hours upon hours of tuning and adjustment before the device could finally be used.
Suyin enjoyed every second of it, even taking the time to investigate what kind of existence Cayla was. To have the ability to reside within Alice's mind yet being able to construct a body for herself and even roam free.
Sadly, she wasn't able to get the answers she wanted but it was a good project she could do during the breaks they took from the main experiment.
