Once all three of us gathered in my we start discussing this town's issue, "I think this thing might
be a demon having some kind of control over this town" I say, "No, I don't think that's it, if it was
then locking your door and windows won't do much" Leon says trying to rack his brain for an
idea.
After discussing multiple ideas thinking it could be ghosts, vampires, or just some old myth.
Eventually Don pitches in saying "it's not a ghost and it's not some old myth that these people
still believe in, it's a wraith", Leon and I look at Don while asking the same question "A wraith?"
Don begins to explain everything about these Wraiths, he says "they're a black ghost shadow
like creature, they feed on the life essence of anyone and anything, surprisingly these ones are
unable to enter houses uninvited oh and they also burn in sunlight".
After this new found information which is truly the only logical possibility, they decide to go
downstairs to talk to the Innkeeper. Leon goes up to the front desk and says "hey so we know
that the creature out there is a wraith, and we need to know if there's anyway to kill it", "Well
apart from the fact that it's quite the powerful entity there is one metal that Wraiths fear, but it's
currently located on the recently renamed demon cliff" the Inn keeper says with a calm tone, and
explains that it used to be a peaceful cliff with flowers and plants, until multiple rogue mindless
demons started to reside there, the man also mentions how all the rogue demons are stronger
than usual.
When I heard all that I suggested that we ask our dragon companion, so I summon Furah and
ask "Furah I have a question would your abilities be able to defeat a Wraith" I say in a hopeful
tone, "Well no our powers are useless to a Wraith, only a light dragon can defeat them, but most
we can do is dodge it but if it gets a hold of us our life essence will easily be removed within two
seconds of the touch, I'm sorry I could not be of service, Master" Furah says with regret in her
voice and returns back into my necklace. After all the information we received Don says "well we
have to go to demon cliff, it's the only way to kill that Wraith and I already know how to kill rogue
demons", I intervene and say "Guess you forgot since you're too busy being full of yourself, but
he said they're not the same as your usual rogue demons" before Don was about to continue
arguing with me, Leon says "don't start now, Zander as much as you may not like it but Don is
right, Demon cliff is the only chance we have against that Wraith, we'll leave for Demon Cliff in
the morning, no discussion".
So it was decided we're going to Demon Cliff in the morning in the hopes to find this rare metal
needed to kill the Wraith and free this, so I lay down on my bed and close my eyes and go to
sleep.
