The next day in the morning, Steve didn't have to work as he was just covering a shift for one of the other officers. After we came home yesterday he let Aiden know that he would have to walk home the next day or catch a ride.
He dropped him off at the parking lot before he went back to get ready to do the night shift. As the clouds casted a white blanket over the sky, as Aiden walked through the cars to the stairs leading up to the main part of campus.
Aiden saw a couple of items that looked like they didn't belong, as three new additions appeared that were not there yesterday. As they are high end cars compared to this small town, thinking some rich family decided to move to this quiet town.
A custom silver Volvo S60R, a white Jeep Wrangler, and a red BMW convertible, all perfectly parked by the stairs. But he soon dismissed the idea as he walked up the stairs heading to my first class, Gym.
The class did the same thing as yesterday minus the showboating and the hostility as all they did was play a couple of games and shoot around till the end of class. He really didn't want to be the center of attention. So all he did was pass the ball around and keep things moving.
But he still got stares from Ben and Connor as if he took something for them, but that has nothing to do with him so he just ignored them altogether.
The next class was uneventful as we just went over what we did the day before, but Aiden had found out that the curly haired shorty (Jessica) was in his class, as she sat right next to him right as the bell rang. We didn't have an assigned seat so it was no big deal.
She was surprisingly smart as she took point on most of the backlog that they did and started conversations with intending tops at the forefront. But he just let her talk, as she was naturally good at it.
Hey Aiden you ok, you didn't really get into the discussion" she said a little concerned.
"Yeah, I really did want to say much, didn't have much to say, but you hit all the points I had so, it all worked out in the end." he said, packing my stuff up.
"But hey, me and some of the guys are going to the coffee shop after school to study, you want to come?" she said with a cheery attitude.
"Yeah, what do you need to study for? You seem good in class" he said.
"Surprisingly I'm not the valedictorian type, Eric is, and I need help in Chem." she said with a shrug.
So who is going to this study session?" he said.
"Me, Angela, Mike, Eric, Tyler, Ben.." she said before getting interrupted.
"Nah, I'm good" Aiden interjected, really not wanting to deal with the high school musical drama that they have going on here. As he placed my last book in my bag.
"What, it would be lots of fun!" she said.
"Yeah, like we would all sit around a big couch in the middle of the coffee shop, drinking and talking about nothing really important like some friends" he said, with a shit grin.
Jessica looked at him with confusion before realizing what Aiden meant, hitting him with her small hands, which did not hurt one bit. As he burst out laughing at her suspense.
"Well, do you want to come or not?" She continued to coerce him for the last time.
"Fine but I make no promises, but I'm more of a living single type anyway." he said, before walking out to his next class.
Aiden's next class was a cage match, as the teacher and a weird looking guy went head-to-head. As the teacher asked him dates on different battles in American's history.
This left Aiden stumped, even appalled as the guy answered them all correctly, and at the end we all gave him a round of applause before the bell rang, leading to the next class.
The guy walked out the door without looking around, as the room was darker than usual, leaving him a little mysterious, but when Aiden went outside, he could see him walk through the crowded walkway.
The skin on his body was pale as hell which left Aiden confused and wondering if it was a full body makeup cover normal with little pink to contrast. As he also had deep dark reddish-brown hair, that brown.
When Aiden turned to go to my next class, he could see a very beautiful curly haired olive-skinned girl, who looked at him like a piece of meat. She was held by a larger than average black haired handsome male, he held her tightly around her waist. As if holding her back from attacking.
But Aiden just ignored them and went on to my next class, where we learned how to make health-conscious Italian food, subsidizing no-meat options, and separating everything into individual items.
Which made him very mad, but he buried it deep down, placing his headphones in for the rest of the class. Listening to a series of NAS songs transferring over to RNB.
