Nine-Tails' POV
The Nine-Tails had been roaming the earth for more than a thousand years, witnessing all the ugliness humanity had to offer. It had seen how the world spoke of peace but resorted to war out of greed and betrayal. Initially indifferent towards humans, over time, the Nine-Tails grew to despise them as they hunted and exploited it relentlessly for their own ends.
After being sealed inside Naruto and observing his life unfold, the Nine-Tails felt a mix of pity and anger towards him. Naruto endured endless abuse and curses without retaliating, clinging to hope that things would improve, but they never did.
"What's the point of everything you do if it is never going to make any difference?" the Nine-Tails often questioned Naruto, who remained silent and withdrawn.
Then one day, Tobi, the masked man, appeared and showed Naruto the futility of his choices, pushing him towards despair. The Nine-Tails observed Naruto's life within the Infinite Tsukuyomi and felt a surge of anger. "Is that really all your life is worth?" it wondered, attempting to connect with Naruto, only to be thwarted by Tobi's interference.
Watching Naruto resolve to destroy the Hidden Leaf village amused the Nine-Tails momentarily. But when Tobi abruptly stabbed Naruto, it was a turning point. Deep in thought, the Nine-Tails made a decision.
"I will see your story to the end, Naruto. I cannot let you die here," the Nine-Tails resolved. It separated Naruto's soul from his body, placing it in a suspended realm to protect him, while it began the process of healing Naruto's physical form in his grave.
As Naruto regained consciousness, disoriented in the suspended realm, he questioned his surroundings. "Where... Am I?"
"You're in a suspended realm created by me," the Nine-Tails replied. "Tailed-beasts can use this to extend their life after their Jinchuriki dies, reviving in their physical form."
"I see," Naruto murmured, recalling Tobi's betrayal.
"Why did you bring me here?" Naruto asked, his voice monotone and expression blank.
"I simply want to see the end of your story," the Nine-Tails answered bluntly.
"What's the point in me being alive anyways? Nobody cares about me. I have no family, no friends, no comrades. I have nothing," Naruto lamented bitterly.
"So what? You mean to tell me this is all your life amounted to? A worthless existence where you accomplished nothing, lived in disdain, and died because of betrayal, caused by trusting someone you shouldn't have, like always?" the Nine-Tails provoked.
"Shut up," Naruto growled, his voice low and filled with anger.
