Before going to sleep, Jiang Yi dialed He Gu's cell phone.
He Gu was obviously not asleep, the noise around him suggested he was in a nightclub.
Shouting into the phone, He Gu asked Jiang Yi, "It's so late, why aren't you sleeping? What do you want with me?"
Jiang Yi hesitated for a moment, then said, "Find a quieter place, I have something I want to ask you."
He Gu agreed, and after some rustling noises, it suddenly became quiet on the other end.
He Gu said, "Alright, there's no one here now, go ahead."
Jiang Yi spoke into the phone, "He Gu, if I had died in the UK all those years ago, and you heard the bad news, would you have come to see me one last time?"
There was a two-second pause on the other end.
Then He Gu said, "Are you out of your mind? Cursing yourself dead? If you had really died abroad back then, I'd fly over no matter what, and I'd lift your coffin, because I won't let you die, you dare to die?"
Jiang Yi giggled into the phone.
