The three of them left the crayfish restaurant, and An Li declined Gu Wenxun's suggestion to take her to a movie.
She said to Gu Wenxun, "I've already made plans with Jiang Yi to stay at her place tonight, so let's do this another day."
Gu Wenxun, having no further reason to persuade, agreed.
After seeing both of them into a taxi, he turned and walked away alone.
Jiang Yi withdrew her gaze from Gu Wenxun's back outside the car window.
She then said to An Li, "When did you two get together? How come I didn't know? How long has it been?"
An Li replied openly, "Today is the first day, not too late for you to know, right?"
Jiang Yi chuckled, "Yeah, not late at all, but he seemed a bit shy. During dinner, he kept sneaking careful glances at you; he must like you a lot, right?"
An Li laughed, "Maybe. He's been pursuing me for over a year. I hadn't agreed until now, but thinking about it, there's nothing bad about him. He's tall, handsome, and cares about me. I think it's fitting."
