Not long after the party ended, newspapers from the major human kingdoms arrived in front of Shami.
"Outrageous! A bunch of bastards writing nonsense! Don't they feel any prick of conscience writing this stuff? And to think I treated them as honored guests, welcoming them so kindly!"
Seeing the content of the newspapers, Shami was so angry she almost threw them out directly.
"What's all this about the Demon King being weak and frail, in poor health, and on the brink of collapse? And what's this about turmoil within the demon race, with various Demon Envoys trying to establish their own rule? Didn't they see my majestic presence at the banquet, didn't they see the harmony between our Demon King and the Demon Envoys?"
Shami questioned the four Demon Envoy girls beside her, wearing an expression as if she'd been bitten by an ungrateful wolf.
"It's precisely because they witnessed that banquet that they made such conclusions!"
The Magical Girl, arms crossed, replied with disdain.
