Jamison Allen knew that Tariq Lane was stubborn. His elder brother-in-law had always been the type to take his own path, set in his decisions, and no one could change his mind.
It was the same when he was after Kallie, and it remained the same now with Cecelia Anderson.
The next morning, Cecelia planned to go to the film set, only to find Tariq's car parked outside.
"Why not let me be your assistant from now on?" Tariq's car blocked Cecelia's, and he leaned out to make the suggestion.
"I already have an assistant," Cecelia replied coldly.
Not only did she have an assistant, but she also had a manager. Her job had never been a problem. Instead, it was Tariq's persistence that put pressure on her.
She now hoped that Tariq would always deeply love Kallie, so that she could be left out of this mess.
"Do you need someone to do odd jobs? Maybe I can join in," Tariq said persistently.
That way, he could get closer to Cecelia.
