Bella Scott had just answered a bunch of calls when Edward Anderson's call came in.
"I didn't expect it to be like this. Bella, I swear I've never met Pitman Lawrence. It has always been Nico Lawrence who discussed business cooperation with me." Edward explained immediately, fearing that the misunderstanding would grow.
The last thing they needed between them was a misunderstanding.
"It seems that Pitman Lawrence is very satisfied with you and wants to recruit you into the Lawrences and marry Nico." Bella quickly figured out the twists and turns.
Edward was so outstanding that any elder with a daughter would probably want such a good son-in-law.
Edward also came to his senses on the phone. Although he wanted to tell Bella that she was overthinking it, Pitman's reaction was indeed strange.
Bella's guess wasn't unreasonable.
"Luckily, Nico has no interest in you. If she did, you wouldn't be able to take it in the future." Bella joked.
