"I... I thought it was real..." Lucas Hutt stammered, wanting to explain but feeling helpless.
He had indeed wronged Tina Hernandez. Because of his preconceived notions about Tina and Robin Reade, as soon as he saw those photos, he thought he had found solid evidence.
He even wanted to use this evidence to attack Tina and force her to divorce him. But how could he have expected that the Detective Agency would actually dare to fabricate photos?
"In the end, you still don't trust Tina. Now when you look at her, you only see her faults magnified, and you're blind to her good qualities. You're hell-bent on divorcing her, thinking that she's blocking your way to marry Flynn Taylor. So you've tried various ways to put dirt on her." Madam Hutt vented, feeling a bit dizzy. She sat on the sofa to catch her breath.
Lucas was startled and quickly sat on the sofa. "Mom, don't be mad. I was wrong this time. If you have any anger, let it out on me. Just don't hurt your health."
