Chapter 503 - Chapter 503: Crowley

As the winds howled, Lahweh couldn't help but look up, stumbling back as he was pushed down. Envy tried to cling onto the foliage as much as possible, snaring himself down to avoid being pulled up and whisked away into debris, already feeling bits and pieces of himself escaping from his body. As the glow came, Cupid would talk once more, as the sigil's color changed from green to gold. "My Magic... Seal Magic... it acts as a bind to restrict and forbid any and all types of magic, depending on what was specialized. This specific style, for instance, acts as a bind to any and all monsters that would be brought onto this world. Creatures that would tear the world apart if they were to breach inside. A Seal granted by the wonderous mind of Aleister Crowley, the Occultist that bridged the worlds together, the Door between Man and Monsters!"

"Monsters...? But I don't even use a Monster! I just use Barrels!!" Lahweh shouted, his voice hard to pick up with the absurd winds.

"Ahh, but that is where the next part of Seal Magic comes to play. With enough energy, or in this case, my conditions, it can bring upon the very forbidden act through the seal into a target! Physical Seals can strengthen your body tenfold, Mental Seals grants you temporary knowledge akin to a Philosopher's, and Magical Seals makes your energy skyrocket, all enough to blast your opponent to smithereens." As he kept going, Cupid's seal began to bulge and break, a golden monster escaping from its confines. It looked stiff, a Dogu's head resting atop of the humanoid body, as well as donning two sets of arms, one above, the other below. As it floats in, Cupid continues. "Monster Seals, however... are another story entirely. As Aleister wrote in his records, he was able to find the markings to bring about the Invoked. The beasts that exists from other worlds, bringing them to here to fight in our stead. This monster, in particular, is the very nature of Monster Magic itself! It's personalized origin!!"

"Origin..?!" Envy couldn't believe what he was saying. Nay, he was actively ignoring it, as it felt impossible to even reach such a beginning, yet the very statue above would slam down and say otherwise, stiff as it was. A snap of the Sealer's fingers was enough to make the creature come alive, the wooden appendages extended, giving proper limb movement across its body, metallic chains once binding the limbs broke apart from inside. As it was freed, the markings on Cupid's cloak began to reach out and implant itself onto the monster, the head and feet as the bottom parts, while the four points of the hexagram extends out to each appendage, a light escaping from each arm, as the words inscribed fuel into its own magic.

"I'll simply it as best as I can. Once summoned, the Seal that holds the conditions you graciously permitted allowed my monster to issue its ultimate ability, to wipe out anyone foolish enough to insert themselves into the sigil's markings. In other words... you sacrificed yourself. I automatically win upon Crowley's summon!!!" Lahweh's eyes widened in fear upon Cupid's announcement. An auto-win condition by fulfilling the smaller objectives, the ones that he believed would only empower whatever was coming out. In desperation, he tried to go to the outer walls as he'd punch his way out, but to no avail. It was too thick, only damaging his hands as a result. He'd see the destroyed wood from the explosion and worked a makeshift barrel by using its ring alongside the wooden planks, aiming to use his magic on the walls to free himself. "Useless..." Cupid commanded, as the Temple around him acts up, quickly striking back with Lahweh's own magic back into him, his chest and stomach stabbed by the planks, his wounds melting away, screams being heard by the opponent. "...Any chance of denial or disruption to the Win condition results in your own attacks backfiring. No magic, Ability, or technique is allowed to stave off the incoming doom you placed yourself in. GOD HIMSELF DEMANDS IT!!!" His booming voice frightened Lahweh further, and conversely, began to horrify Envy. Unbeknownst however, was that the very sigil's markings embedded onto his Tar-like tongue, stored away in case, as the monster began to attack.

The light grows brighter, surrounding the four arms, charging a massive beam and taking aim for Lomian's very soul. "W-wait!! Hold on! I give! I give, alright!? We can call it off!! I surrender!!!" He begged, but his words were ignored.

"When faced against a Magi, you do not give. You do not bend. You only face Death. You only ball your fist and fight back until you can't. You had that energy beforehand, now you are unfit to wield the title of a Caster. CROWLEY!! OBLITERATE HIM!!!"

"PLEASE, HAVE MERCY-"

"HEAVEN'S QUEEN!! HELL'S KING!!! ORICHALCUM LIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIGHT!!!!!!!"

A beam from the very seal itself blasts forth, engulfing the Intruder, as he'd raise his hand in defiance and fear. His screams echoed across the temple, before slowly succumbing to silence. As the Temple broke down, all that remained was mere smoke, as the magic stored within Lomian transfers towards the Dogu, a new seal made in its place, one that becomes embedded in Cupid's Canine, as his blind eyes regained the markings of his Monster Seal. Envy was left speechless at such a stomp, sweating bullets when Itanos turned his head towards the Living Tar's direction. After such a display, he needed to leave immediately, hoping to warn the children regarding who may be their next opponent. As he slinked away and wormed across the shadows, trying to reach back up...

A gun against his head, as The Sniper in Hell was right beside him, stalking him for the right moment to strike. Bronx Stophles was like an animal, as he'd see the note's words fade away, signaling his target's life snuffed out, as well as seeing the two Elites making their way around Calibren. "Thank you..." was all he muttered, before focusing his efforts back towards Envy, forcing him to reform himself to his humanoid state.

To run into Rank 1's strongest soldier. Envy can't help but wonder if leaving the group in that instance became his worst decision yet.
