Chapter 473 - Chapter 473: Sweet Tooth

The Army of Toys began to come forward like the ocean they wish to be. Criollo would launch himself on one of them, a doll, immediately caving across its head and slicing down a hole where he could fit inside, wearing it like a suit of armor. Plush owls soar up above, opening their beaks and blasting down gatling guns to hurt him. Teddy Bears would have their arms part, cannons visible and blowing up whatever was in front of their direction. The cookie stormed through each and every one of them, Axes made to cleave their bodies one by one. The Beldam would try to step in, aiming a direct strike into the doll's stomach, assuming that such a spot was too small and limiting to properly dodge or tank, hoping such an attack is enough to pierce and disembowel the cookie.

Fwipp!!

An immediate shot. Flourence would try to remain out of sight, his candy cane sniping down any attacks the Beldam would attempt, guaranteeing Criollo a chance to move forward, striking down more of her army. The Beldam twisted her head, parting it like a flower, before charging forward, detaching her hands to have them act as a projectile, tearing through the gum, a massive hole across a wall. Immediately after, she'd tear down that very wall, cracks visible, stonework falling. Even if he was hiding, he would be forced to leave it if he wishes to keep both himself and the House alive. Once she saw him try to leave across the wreckage, she'd take her hands back and grab ahold of the debris, tossing them like arrows and javelins again, trying to snipe out Flourence from the house, hoping to pin him against the wall.

SHIKK!!!

Direct hit. His arm broke into pieces, his cane forced to be dropped. He'd grunt as he'd see the House be uncontrollable, watching it run away. As the Beldam charged ahead, Flourence merely smirked as he'd grab his own rock, somehow being strong for a mere cookie. As she got close, he'd smash the rock at her head, stunning her, watching her reel back as she stomped down to crush the delicacy into mere crumbs. Criollo was quick on intercepting her strike, swiping Flourence and his cane away, allowing one of her toys, a rubber duck with razor wings, take the blow instead, watching it pop and deflate upon impact. He'd set up his aroma's in order to null the pain, while Flourence took aim with his cane, firing at it again, catching the Beldam with her open maw, jamming it with the sticky substance, forcing it to remain closed for a while. Outraged, The Beldam would coordinate her long range toys to fire in a massive wave, while directing the toy planes and helicopters to strike them down if they were to evade through the air. Instead, however, Criollo would parry each shot, slowly making his way through the sea of firearms, his energy spiking. "Candy Magic..." he'd bellow, watching the toys take drastic measures, swooping along with the bullet hell raised, weapons brandished to strike at him when he was occupied.

"Suttungr..."

White aroma. The armada being made began to dissolve with each second. The toys that try to get close began to lose control of their body. The energy produced by the army and their tools of war bonding with the shop's floor. The Beldam braced herself as she'd see his axes blast down the light necessary to compete back, letting her lean backwards and regenerate her eyes that were once shattered. By positioning herself with the light, it would refract and hit elsewhere, hoping to potentially strike at Criollo in the same fashion. Alas, he was able to block with his own axe in response, re-directing it to one of the toys instead. It wouldn't matter much at first, with how neither her, nor the area, would be affected. Her army, however, would, slowly being dismantled one after another. She'd snap her fingers in response, letting the shelves move, letting a new set of toys rain down and overwhelm once again. She was curious at why he would waste such a move here. Unless such a Gambit is able to sustain themselves through the battlefield, burning most of your energy for a foolhardy strategy like this would only result in weakening your body. That was, however, until she'd see the ground shift.

It was precisely that very reason he would use his magic. The floor was starting to leak out syrup and gum, the walls around her sprouting out chocolate bars and lollipops. She'd look over to see Flourence stabbing into the ground with his cane, showcasing his magic again.

"Candy Magic..."

"HANSEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEELLL!!!!"

Arms erupted out from the masses. The aim was simple: To force out as much energy from her toys as possible, fusing it with the sweets available in the buffet, and use such foods against her. Because of how much sugary goods were across the makeshift restaurant, The Beldam recognized that spilling out such energy was the only way to get access to that very gamble. In a way, she'd have to give props. Nobody hasn't used her own area against her before, at least not to this degree. As the toys became trapped in such gum and gunk, struck down by the sticks of licorice and pocky, watching them get impaled through and strung up like they were victims of the Impaler himself, The Beldam would swat herself to the rooftop, stabbing into the planks, crawling and dodging such beams as much as possible. She'd track down to Flourence, watching him set up a shield of Rock Candy and Roll Ups. She'd bide herself and wait for the sticks to jut upwards, letting her snap them before they'd reach her body, using them as Javelins to strike at the wall, skewering straight through. She knew they'd be strong enough to pierce into anything remotely solid, as she'd leap down and pick at the wall with her punches, a chunk breaking off, just enough to crawl through and reach for Flourence.

BANG!!!

An immediate shot. The House would leak out a black tar, a projectile trailed across from the hole left behind to the injury on her shoulder. He was in there. He was waiting for his own moment.

Flourence wasn't just protecting the House, but weaponizing it, alongside the Descendants of the Two Kingdoms.
