Lily sat groggily on the sofa in her room. The new Duke Estate of the Pei Family was finally complete after a month. She had planned to have a good rest and decided not to leave her room for two days, thinking to sleep and laze around. With Althea handling the preparations, and the imperial family cowering in fear and hiding inside the palace, there was nothing left for her to do.
But Ji Mei came to her room and told her she had more visitors early in the morning. Who the heck was disturbing her beauty rest?
"The people chosen by Elder Leo to compete came to find you," Ji Mei reported.
Lily dazedly waved her hand. She was too sleepy to bother with them. "Tell them to leave."
"I already did. But they're adamant about staying in front of the gate. They won't leave unless you see them."
Now, she was annoyed. "Alright, give me a moment to fix myself. Bring them to the Guest Hall and tell them to wait."
Ji Mei nodded and left.
Lily sighed. What now?
