Chapter 20 - Death Flag Alliance

When Blake arrived at the alliance's camp, all the members got near him to see clearly what was happening. It created a commotion.

No one was afraid of the monsters behind the humans, because Joe made sure to explain that their vice-leader was a necromancer very powerful, so everyone knew they were under Blake's control

However, the Five Crazy Demoness had just slaughtered all of those that were in the camp at the end of this morning.

Combined with the fame those girls already made for themselves, everyone wanted to know if they were her to fight or what.

However, the few that met Blake this morning recognized him and screamed in surprise.

"Is that our vice-leader with the Demoness Queen on his lep? I'm dreaming, right?"

Blake and his group arrived just in front of the camp's entrance.

He helped Vasha dismount the tier before dismounting it himself. The other four Demonesses also dismounted their jaguars.

The six of them left their mounts outside the camp, guarding the entrance, and got inside

Blake left the hobgoblins outside the camp in order to prevent fear between the members.

While they were walking inside. Blake was in front with Vasha holding each other's hand. The other four were walking in line just behind them.

Blake then arrived in front of Joe and said while smiling:

"Mission complete."

"Good job, Demon King," Joe said mockingly.

"Wait, Demon What?" Blake quickly replied surprised by his friend's comment.

"You are involved with the Demoness Queen, so you are the Demon King. Besides that, this title suits you.

I will make it works in everyone's mouth." Joe said joyfully.

After the greeting, everyone reunites around the campfire to eat dinner.

There were sixteen people around chatting, when one of them, the blond one, asked how was the negotiation to convince the Five Crazy Demoness to join their alliance.

At that moment Chiki and Mallory stood up and talked enthusiastically about how they were one side bitten by Blake.

That helped the members, that held some remorse from the Demonesses to forgive them.

In the end, those girls were bitten more miserably than them by their vice-leader.

When the reunion was coming to an end, Joe stand up and said.

"We are already sixteen. That's more than enough to be considered a true alliance in this small jungle where there are only a hundred people in total.

So, I think its time to declare our name to the world."

"And what is our alliance name?" Blake asked.

"We are the Death Flag Alliance!" Joe declares.

"That kind of sound nice, but why?" The blond one asked.

"Because it sounds good. Does a name truly need more than it? If you want more meaning, you can think about it later.

In the end, meaning is just one particular way of interpretation. Therefore, since there are always several ways of interpretation, there is no point in giving too much importance to it." Joe explained his opinion.

No one questioned anymore.

They chatted a little more before people went to the tends they raised.

Joe then called Blake to the side and said.

"Bro, we have a problem.

I didn't believe you would conclude your mission so quickly and we don't even have the materials to make the tends to the girls.

I plan to put some men to sleep on the floor outside and give their tends to the girls, but that may create unnecessary hatred between them."

"Don't worry, I know what to do," Blake replied.

Blake then convinced the girls to go back to the cave to sleep there.

...

Meanwhile, somewhere in the HA, a tall and muscular man wearing expensive clothes with details in gold is sitting on a very well made wooden chair in front of a very well made wooden table.

It is August, the tenth ranked and the leader of The Rankers.

there are also other nine people sitting around the table. But their chairs were obviously less elegant.

All of these other people were looking at the man wearing expensive clothes waiting patiently.

"So the Ice Queen and the Little Invincible refused to join us?

It seems our image isn't strong enough.

Besides, there have already been more than ten days since the day of transition, other groups will start to emerge.

Strengthen the information collection in MA and start another information collection with the new people in LA.

Moreover, Cecilio, I want you to go to the already formed groups in MA and asked them to join, but don't force anyone. If they refuse, just accept it."

A black hair man, covered in black clothes nodded his head after hearing the last part of his leader's arrangement.

...

On the next day, Blake woke up in Vasha's room and ordered his undead to prepare their breakfast as always.

He then looked to the side and figured out that Vasha wasn't on the bed anymore.

He then stood up and went out of the room sleepily.

He found all the other girls preparing their weapons.

"What are you all doing? Did you even eat your breakfast?" Blake asked them.

"We are going to hunt it right now, dummy," Aurora said smiling.

"Don't need, I already asked my undeads to do so. Just wait a few minutes and our delivery will arrive." Blake said jokingly.

"Besides that, did any of you see Vasha?" Blake asked.

"No, she usually hunts with us, but today she didn't come," Tansy answered.

Blake stayed there thinking about where she could be when she arrived from behind hugging him.

"Have you already asked for the breakfast from delivery?" Vasha asked Blake.

Blake just smiled a bit surprised by Vasha and nodded.

After the Breakfast Vasha helped Blake acquire the "Mana Perception" and "Mana Manipulation" skills.

The others when to hunt and develop more their classes as usual.

...

During the afternoon, Cecilio arrived at the Death Flag Alliance's camp.

"Who is the one in command here?" Cecilio asked out loud in a very arrogant tone.

Joe then got to him and said.

"I am. Why?" Since the other party was being so arrogant, Joe didn't feel the obligation of being polite.

"I am Cecilio, ranked 14. Can you tell me your rank?"

"I'm Joe, rank 85. What do you want here?"

"I came as a representative of The Rankers to invite you all, low things, to our great alliance."

"Fuck off!" Joe answered disinterested without blinking an eye.

"Hey, you. I'm being more polite than you deserve, just accept it and come with me." Cecilio said arrogantly and showing some signs of anger.

"Or what? I already rejected your uninteresting invitation. So, fuck off." Joe said already pissed by this arrogant little shit.

"I have more things to do, bye," Joe added while turning back to go do other stuff.

However, Cecilio got even angrier and sneak attacked Joe.

But Joe, who has the "Instinct" passive skill, could easily dodge it.

Joe got furious with the sudden sneak attack and counter attacked.

Cecilio was actually very strong, but he wasn't as strong as Joe. He was also even faster, but he still wasn't faster than Joe. What happened next was a one side betting.

Joe continued to beat Cecilio until he was forced to teleport.

...

"Hey Absko, Hey Michael, long time no see," August said.

They were in a deep part of HA.

"Hey August, how have you been?" Michael said before going near August to give him a hug.

"Very well actually, my alliance has developed very quickly, and you?"

"Same, my class is developing very quickly."

"Good, I'm very happy for you.

In reality today I came to visit you both as the leader of The Rankers.

I want to formally invite both of you to join us." August said politely.

"I refuse!" Both Michael and Absko answered simultaneously.

"I already imagined, but I had to try, right?"

At this moment, one of August's subordinates came running out of the top of one of the trees.

"Leader, Cecilio just reported that one of the groups he tried to politely invite beat him until he was forced to teleport." August's subordinates reported.
