Chapter 888 - Chapter 889: Fine, I'll Give It! Boohoo...

"How do you plan to stop him?" Gladys asked, looking at her boldest sister, Tiffany. "Are you going to rush up to him, transform into your golden dragon form, and tell him, 'The bloodline extraction potion you want to buy is useless to me, so don't waste your time?'"

"That sounds like a good idea," Tiffany nodded. "But afterward, Dad will definitely catch me and give me a beating! So we can't do that."

"Then what should we do? Just watch as he works himself to the bone, saving up 30,000 credits to buy us something we don't even need?"

"I think we can't let him just give us gifts all the time. As his sisters, we should give something back to him too, as a token of appreciation," Katia chimed in slowly from the side.

"That's not a bad idea," Gladys agreed, nodding thoughtfully at Katia's suggestion. "Given our status, we can secretly send Brother some things he can't get right now."

"Oh, and we should take care of that person who replied to Brother's question on the forum!" Katia pointed to the screen in front of her, frowning in displeasure at the person who had replied to Aeolos's post.

"Right, that guy definitely needs to be dealt with!" Gladys agreed wholeheartedly, then turned to the ancient dragon standing nearby, Fiona. "Aunt Fiona, can you look into the identity of the person who was flirting with my brother?"

"Princess, I'm afraid I can't do that. According to the academy's privacy rules, all forum participants have a right to anonymity, and I don't have the authority to investigate them."

Hearing Fiona's refusal, Gladys didn't speak but merely turned her head and silently stared at the green-haired dragon lady. At the same time, Tiffany and Katia also turned their heads, fixing their gazes on the dragon who had been caring for them.

"I understand!" Fiona sighed in defeat under the pressure of the three little princesses' differing-colored eyes. "I'll find a way to track down the person who flirted with the crown prince."

...

"That new Dragonborn freshman is quite good-looking, I've heard. If I can get one to spend a couple of days with me, I wouldn't mind giving him 10,000 credits!" In one of the rooms in the high school dormitory of Dragon Academy, a 30-meter-long blue dragon lay lazily on a massive bed made of diamonds and agate, dreaming sweetly.

"Ding dong!"

Suddenly, a shrill sound came from her claws, followed by a light screen being forcibly projected from the information terminal in her hand.

"Mandatory Credit Task: A powerful dragon-like creature, suspected to be a red dragon, has appeared on the Ionia subcontinent. In the past seven days, this dragon has destroyed three human cities. Cassidy Hooper is ordered to travel to the Ionia subcontinent within one day to investigate and capture this dragon alive! Deadline: 20 days. Task Reward: 8,000 credits. Task Failure Penalty: Credits will be deducted based on the damage caused by the dragon, with a minimum deduction of 5,000!"

"I just got back from a mission, and now they're giving me a forced task?" Cassidy the blue dragon cursed in frustration. "And it's such a ridiculous mission! This is clearly designed to drain my credits!"

...

Three months later.

"Dad, Mom, I'm home!" Aeolos stood at the entrance of his home, checking his body for any lingering wounds. Finding none, he opened the door with a mix of excitement and joy and shouted into the house.

"Brother!" "Brother!" "Brother!"

As soon as Aeolos stepped through the door, three soft, tender voices greeted him. The three little girls came bouncing toward him, their faces filled with joy at seeing their older brother.

"Haha!" Hearing their excited calls, Aeolos laughed heartily, scooping all three of his sisters into his arms. In that moment, all the injuries he had sustained during the grueling tasks he had taken on at the academy felt completely worth it.

"Why are you only coming back now? Did you fail to get into a good university and feel too embarrassed to face your old man?"

Sitting on the sofa, Muria pushed his crystal glasses up the bridge of his nose, teasing his son.

"What are you talking about? With Aeolos's grades, how could he not get into a good university?" Mikaela, who was sitting beside Muria in the form of a gentle and elegant lady, played along with his teasing.

"Dad, Mom, I got accepted into Synapse's Dragon Academy. The coursework has been pretty intense, so I only just found time to come home," Aeolos explained with a smile. In truth, he had been able to come home earlier, but he wanted to return with something useful for his sisters.

"Dragon Academy, huh? Not bad," Muria nodded from his seat, not showing too much excitement. After all, it was his own academy, and enrolling his son there didn't feel like something worth celebrating—it was just natural.

Though Aeolos felt a bit disappointed by his father's calm reaction, he wasn't too surprised. As he grew stronger, he became more aware of how unfathomably powerful his father was. After all, the sword marks Muria had left on him as a child had only allowed him to defeat eight of the sword warriors thus far.

"I found some potions at the academy that are only available to enrolled students, so I used my credits to buy three of them for my sisters," Aeolos said, taking three crystal bottles with shimmering rainbow liquid from his space ring and handing one to each of his sisters.

"Just focus on your studies; you don't need to worry about anything else. I'll take care of your sisters," Muria frowned slightly as he looked at the potions, showing a hint of displeasure.

"These are just potions that increase the chances of awakening dormant bloodlines. They're not anything particularly special," Aeolos downplayed the effects of the bloodline extraction potions, not wanting his family to worry about him.

"These potions are of high quality. How much did you sacrifice to get them?" Muria asked, playing the role of a concerned father.

"They weren't that expensive, Dad. I've only been enrolled for three months, and I got them without much trouble," Aeolos replied with a smile.

"Hmm," Muria hummed in acknowledgment.

...

That night, the three little girls, each dressed in different nightgowns, huddled together on one bed, whispering to each other. Each of them held one of the potions in their hands.

"Brother's such an idiot, a complete fool. He really bought all three bloodline extraction potions!"

"He did it because he cares about us. Sigh, he spent all the credits he worked so hard for over the past three months on these potions. Brother... even if he doesn't know the truth, he could've waited until he reached soul-tier. It would've been much easier then,"

"Enough talk about what he should've done. Brother already bought the potions, so let's figure out how to make up for the 30,000 credits he spent on us," Katia said, her emotions in turmoil as she looked at the potion in her hand. For the first time, she realized that something other than battle could stir her emotions.

"How do we make up for it?" Tiffany asked nervously.

"Brother is about to break through to soul-tier soon. Although Dad has sealed his memories, I'm sure there's a plan in place. Once Brother breaks through, we need to get him to forge his own exclusive weapon!" Gladys said, her expression calm as she laid out the plan.

"The more growth-potential weapons he has, the better. So, we need to secretly gather some legendary metals and give them to Brother. He'll think he came across them by accident, and everything will work out. With our status, this won't be difficult."

"I'm fine with that. I've won a few legendary metals from betting with other Titans. I can give them all to Brother," Katia nodded, agreeing with Gladys's plan.

"I also got some Solis Flame Gold from the Celestial Realm! It's a legendary metal, and Brother can definitely use it!"

After Gladys and Katia agreed to give their legendary metals to Aeolos, they turned their gazes toward Tiffany, waiting for her response.

"Why are you all looking at me?" Tiffany shrank back when she saw her sisters' expectant eyes.

"Brother is so good to you. Shouldn't you show him some appreciation?" Gladys pointed at the bloodline potion in Tiffany's hand.

"I don't have any legendary metals," Tiffany shook her head vigorously, but after a moment, she hesitated and added, "But I can give him my shed scales. They're just as durable as legendary metals!"

"Stop pretending! Tiffany, you've collected twice as much legendary metal as Katia and I combined!" Gladys pounced on her sister, pinning her down, her face full of menace.

"Brother is so good to you, and you're just going to give him some scales? Aren't you ashamed? Doesn't your conscience hurt?"

"...No!" Tiffany hesitated for a moment before answering firmly.

"Tiffany, if you keep being stingy, I'll beat you up!" Katia appeared by her side without a sound, holding a short-handled hammer crackling with golden lightning.

"I'm your big sister, you can't hit me," Tiffany said, fear flashing across her face as she shrank into Gladys's embrace.

"If you don't give it

up, no one will be able to protect you!" Katia raised her hammer menacingly.

"Fine, fine, I'll give it! Boohoo!"
