Chapter 875 - Chapter 875: Why Do My Eyes Often Fill with Tears?

In the center of the Senaps Subcontinent, suspended ten thousand meters above the ground, was the floating city of Synapse, constructed from 132 cloud islands. Arranged in a precise and orderly formation, it hovered majestically in the sky. In Muria's grand plan, Synapse was to become the capital of his future empire, a mobile imperial capital that would rival the capitals of the top ten empires.

"In just three years, they will be born. The power of the Source is truly miraculous!" Muria stood in the sky garden at the top of Synapse, gazing down at the vast land below with a sense of awe.

His firstborn, Aeolos, had taken Mikaela twenty-four years to give birth to. But now, thanks to the Source Power, it had only taken three years for her to carry triplets. Moreover, from Muria's perception, each of his three daughters was more robust than their older brother, Aeolos. They would be born with even greater potential.

"The world is about to change!" Muria looked up at the sky. As the time for his daughters' birth approached, he could sense strange shifts in the world's rules. He knew something extraordinary would happen on the day of their birth.

Boom!

At dawn, a platinum pillar of light shot out from the Cloud City, piercing the sky and completely dispelling the lingering night over Synapse.

The residents below looked up, stunned, as they noticed the concentration of elements in the atmosphere was rapidly increasing. Near the Cloud City, the density became so intense that elemental spirits began to condense.

As the people of Synapse stared in awe at the holy city above, unsure of what was happening, two more pillars of light—one golden and one pure white—shot into the sky. The three beams combined, creating a terrifying vortex of elements, pulling energy from the Elemental Realm itself.

In the courtyard of the Cloud City, within a vast and sacred pool, Mikaela had assumed her massive true form, equal in size to Muria's Titan body. Having completed the birth, she was now absorbing the divine power accumulated in the pool at a rapid rate.

Surrounding her, three adorable little figures sat quietly in the water, holding crystalline elemental essence, replenishing themselves with their first meal after birth.

The three beams of light, shooting skyward, were the overflow of their power, attracting elements from the world to create this spectacle. And the vortex of elements grew larger, not showing any signs of stopping.

Around the vortex formed by the three beams, thunder, hurricanes, divine white flames, and golden dragon fire swirled. These natural phenomena accompanied the birth of these three noble beings, who had long been nurtured for this moment.

Three shimmering, multi-faceted crystals, each glowing in different hues, appeared before the three princesses, and in an instant, they flew towards their foreheads, intending to merge with them and elevate their life force.

One of the little girls, petite yet stunningly beautiful, sat in the water clutching a milk-white crystal nucleus as large as herself. Pure holy energy flowed continuously from the nucleus into her body. As she absorbed the energy, five pairs of wings, folded behind her back, slowly spread out.

When the sacred crystal imbued with divine power approached her, a shadow of a sixth pair of wings began to form behind her, growing more distinct as the crystal neared.

Clang!

Just as the crystal was about to merge with the girl's forehead, a flaming crimson sword materialized and sliced the crystal in half, shattering it before it could fuse with her.

The same scene played out next to another girl, who had distinct dragon-like features. Just as the glowing crystal was about to merge with her, a gauntleted hand reached out and crushed it.

"A godhood descended!" Muria turned to his third daughter. Just as he was about to intervene, he paused, a smile forming on his face.

This third daughter, with flowing black hair, didn't need their help. As the godhood tried to merge with her, she clenched her tiny fist and smashed it with a punch.

"Good!" Muria exclaimed, delighted. He had just crushed a godhood himself, and now his youngest daughter had rejected hers on her own.

The appearance of these godhoods was similar to what happened when Muria's grandmother, Arista, returned. His three daughters had been born with the qualifications to become deities, a result of the Source Power used to bring them into the world.

However, Muria had no intention of letting his daughters ascend to godhood now. They would be at the bottom tier of gods and have no followers to support them. That was something Muria could not allow. Since the girls had only just been born and had only a rudimentary consciousness, Muria and Mikaela had to intervene and break the godhoods that sought to fuse with them.

Muria had been ready to act again, but his third daughter, displaying her Titan traits, had smashed her own godhood with sheer will. It wasn't that she was as powerful as Muria or Mikaela yet, but this punch was an expression of her intent—she didn't want to become a god. The godhood naturally retreated.

Rumble—

Just as Muria was rejoicing, lightning began to descend over the Cloud City, tearing through the elemental vortex that had formed around the birth of his daughters, aiming straight for Mikaela's Cloud City.

Since Muria and Mikaela had destroyed the godhoods intended for their daughters, they had violated the world's rules, and now, punishment was descending.

Screech!

As Muria prepared to face the world's punishment, a sharp cry echoed from Wind King's Castle below, and suddenly, the enormous bolts of lightning that had been about to strike disappeared into thin air.

"Thanks!" Muria, now in his Dragon Titan form, fully armed with his eight weapons floating around him, had been ready for battle. But the punishment vanished as quickly as it had come, dissolved by a single cry from a certain lazy eagle below.

"Gladis Mikael Elonsas Iapetos!" At that moment, a soft, childlike voice called out from behind him. Without hesitation, Muria deactivated his armor and weapons, stepping back into the palace to find his daughters beginning to recite their true names.

"Tiffany Elonsas Iapetos Mikael!" Muria entered just as his dragon-featured second daughter was speaking her true name aloud.

"Katya Iapetos Mikael Elonsas!" Finally, Muria turned to his third daughter, the one who had refused godhood with her own will.

Watching his daughters one by one declare their true names, Muria couldn't contain his joy and burst into hearty laughter.

"Announce my decree! Today is the day of my three daughters' birth. From now on, this day will be celebrated as Holy Birth Day. All my territories will observe a day of rest each year on this day!"

Since his empire had not yet been officially established, Muria referred to his domains as territories.

"Now, all my subjects, rejoice in the birth of Synapse's three princesses!"

As Muria's order spread, the joyful atmosphere began to permeate Synapse. Soon, the celebration spread from Synapse to the entire Senaps Subcontinent.

On the eastern part of the Senaps Subcontinent, in the City of Infinite Knowledge.

Thanks to the advanced magic technology and teleportation arrays, an hour after Muria gave his command, the festive mood reached this scholarly city. Waves of cheers swept through the city.

Naturally, the students were the loudest celebrators. One reason was that they were getting a day off. But that wasn't the main reason. For the academic overachievers, an extra day off meant less time for study, which wasn't something to celebrate.

However, even these studious students joined in the cheering because the holiday came with a gift from Synapse: a reward of 100 gold coins for every high school student, a gesture called the "King's Joy."

"Praise the princesses!" Although none of the students knew the names or appearances of Muria's daughters, similar chants of praise could be heard in schools and across the Senaps Subcontinent. For many lower-class families, the King's Joy was a godsend.

In a classroom at one high school, a black-haired, golden-eyed boy sat silently. Aeolos listened to the news of the holiday and saw the 100 gold coins deposited into his account. As his classmates chattered excitedly about the princesses' birth, an inexplicable wave of sadness washed over him.

"Hey, Aeolos, why are you crying?" A beautiful girl noticed the tears running down the face of their class's top student and gasped.

"Hmm?" Aeolos, suddenly aware of the strange sorrow gripping him, touched his eyes and found real tears falling from them. His expression turned confused.

"Why are you crying all of a sudden? And it's so strange—only one eye is crying!" With the girl's exclamation, more classmates turned to look at Aeolos, curious about his tearful state.

"I… don't know," Aeolos replied, dazed. He couldn't understand why he felt such profound sadness, as if he had been dealt a great injustice.
