"You think I want this?" Muria looked distressed. He was feeling pretty frustrated. With his current status, it seemed incredible that he hadn't had any intimate contact with any female. It was as if some mysterious, incomprehensible force had been influencing his decisions, allowing him to achieve what was likely an unprecedented feat in Erathia—a virgin dragon at adulthood.
"You should start preparing. How long do you plan on keeping your fiancée waiting?"
"I've already sworn to her brother that I wouldn't make any improper moves on her before our official marriage."
"Then why not propose? It's such a simple thing! Hold a grand wedding, and I can help you!"
"That's too rushed! I still have so many things I need to accomplish."
"How long are you going to delay it? Are you planning to wait until I become an old dragon before you get married? Do you want to drive your poor mother crazy?"
"Of course not, I don't plan to wait that long." Seeing how agitated his mother had become, Muria quickly shook his head. He definitely didn't intend to postpone the wedding indefinitely.
"Then when are you going to get married and give me a cute little granddaughter? Don't tell me you're planning to follow what those rigid old geezers said, waiting until you've reached the peak of legend to use primal power and create a child with Mikaela?"
"I don't have much choice. Both Mikaela and I have such powerful bloodlines and strength. We've already tapped into most of our bloodline's potential. At this point, it's difficult to conceive offspring naturally. That's why we need primal power, which can create anything, to ensure we can have children."
"Who told you that? It's hard for legends to have children, not impossible. If the probability is low, just make up for it with frequency. If a thousand times doesn't work, try ten thousand. And if ten thousand doesn't work, try a hundred thousand. Eventually, you'll succeed. You don't necessarily need primal power. You should know how precious it is."
"I understand." Muria scratched his head, his face slightly red, and then he shared his plan. "I'm planning to propose to Mikaela once I reach Legendary Tier 7 and fully conquer the Yinhuang World."
"And how long will that take?" His mother was clearly dissatisfied, knowing how hard it was to progress as a legend.
"At most, two hundred years," Muria promised confidently.
"That's too long! No way." His mother immediately bristled. "You need to get married now."
"But—"
"What are you hesitating for? That young lady has chased you all the way to another world. Why are you being so indecisive? If you're too shy to propose, I'll do it for you."
"No, I'll do it myself," Muria quickly cut her off. Letting his mother propose for him would make him seem utterly pathetic.
"So, you're finally planning to get married?" At that moment, Muria's father, Ansol, who had come to talk to him about some father-son matters, overheard the conversation. He decided to stick around rather than leave.
"I was going to talk to you, but now I'll stay a little longer. I can't miss my son's wedding, can I?"
"Alright, stop stalling." His mother gave him a stern look. "Go."
"Okay, okay, I'm going."
"Mika!" Under his mother's watchful gaze, Muria approached Mikaela, who looked rather bored.
"Muria? Congratulations on finally coming of age. Happy birthday!"
"Mika, will you marry me?" Despite running countless lines in his mind, Muria ended up blurting out this simple question.
"Huh?" Even Mikaela, who usually didn't care much about most things, was momentarily taken aback. Then, seeing Muria's serious expression, she slowly nodded. "Yes."
"You agreed!" Although it was something he had anticipated, Muria couldn't suppress the joy that surged through him. "When should we hold the wedding?"
"You decide."
...
When Muria announced that he and Mikaela would be getting married in three months, the entire Synapse erupted in celebration. All the giants and various creatures cheered for Muria, though the dragons had mixed reactions. Some were happy for him, while others felt disappointed or even sad.
"Turns out, some things just need a little push," his mother remarked, overjoyed at the news of the upcoming wedding. She seemed even more excited than Muria, her face flushed with excitement.
She immediately began preparing for the wedding, sending invitations to all her dragon friends and urging Ansol to return to the Titan Isles to invite their people, including the epic Titans. She hoped that at least some of them would attend the wedding. After all, it had only been three months since the epic Titans awoke, and they might not have gone back to sleep yet.
With the same hopeful mindset, Muria's mother also sent invitations to the Dragon Kings. Even if they didn't attend, there was nothing to lose, and if they did show up, it would be a huge win.
"Muria, as for the Celestial Tribe, I heard you have a way to contact them. You should personally invite them."
"..." Muria's mouth twitched, but he nodded in agreement. He couldn't exactly have Mikaela invite her own family. Still, the idea of him doing it felt a bit off.
...
"What? You're getting married to my sister in three months?" Upon hearing Muria's purpose, Mikaela's brother, Ilveste, slammed his fist on the table and glared at him.
"To be precise, in eighty days. It's already less than three months."
"You…"
"Ilveste, calm down. Muria is here to invite you to the wedding. Are you planning to fight him? He hasn't done anything wrong." Another eight-winged Celestial, Fiyetti, walked over and placed a hand on Ilveste's shoulder, forcing him back into his seat. Among their generation, only she could calm him down.
"Besides, you knew this wedding would happen sooner or later. When their engagement was decided, you should've been prepared."
"Why so soon?" Ilveste's anger gradually subsided. As Fiyetti had pointed out, Muria hadn't done anything wrong.
Still, he couldn't shake the feeling of melancholy. From now on, his sister, though still his sister, would also be someone else's wife, with a relationship more intimate than sibling bonds.
"It's already late, big brother. I'm an adult now, and I've yet to be intimate with any woman. Don't you think that's a bit cruel for someone with half-dragon blood? How much longer do you think I should wait?"
"..." Ilveste's lips twitched, but he quickly stifled his laughter.
Fiyetti, on the other hand, didn't hold back. She burst out laughing and looked at Muria with a gentle, slightly sympathetic gaze.
Though she didn't know much about dragons, she was aware of some basic facts. For Muria to remain celibate into adulthood was something rare, possibly unique, in her experience. She respected his willpower but couldn't help feeling sorry for him.
"So, I should marry Mikaela now."
"Mikaela agreed?"
"Of course."
"..." Ilveste fell silent. There was nothing more to say. He had no grounds to oppose the wedding since his sister had already agreed.
"Brother-in-law, I'm here to invite the Celestial Tribe to the wedding. Who should I be inviting? Please take me to meet them. The more Celestials at the wedding, the better."
"Of course." Ilveste's eyebrows shot up, and a new thought crossed his mind. Since this wedding was happening, he would make sure it was as grand as possible.
"Come with me. I'll take you to visit my grandfather first."
"We're going to see a Celestial?"
...
"Lord Aludiba!" Muria bowed respectfully to the handsome youth sitting on the divine throne. Despite his serene demeanor, Muria dared not underestimate him. Not long ago, this Celestial had fought in the void and destroyed many evil gods.
"Muria, I already know why you're here," Aludiba said warmly. "But I have a question for you: Have you invited the Titan ancestors from your side?"
"My father has gone to invite them."
"Will your two grandfathers attend?"
"I'm not sure. You know, my Titan grandfather consumed too much during the God-slaying War and has been in a deep sleep ever since, with no signs of waking up," Muria explained, shaking his head. "As for my Dragon King grandfather, he's gone into the void, and there's no telling when he'll return. He may not be able to make it."
"Hmm, that's unfortunate." Aludiba nodded. "As for the Celestial realm, you needn't worry. We'll handle the invitations. Additionally, I'll personally attend your wedding!"
"Uh!" Muria was stunned. This was the first epic being to confirm their attendance at his wedding.
"Why are you surprised? This is my granddaughter's wedding. Oh, and there won't be just me. So, make sure you have enough space!"
"No problem."
"You're referring to those islands of yours? They won't be enough. Here's what you'll do: go around the Celestial domain and pick out a thousand floating cities. Once you've chosen, let me know, and I'll coordinate things for you. When you return to Erathia, you'll bring those floating cities with you, and they'll all be under your control during the
wedding."
