Fargo opened his mouth. After his Dawn Mecha was taken by the higher-ups, he tried to search for information about it, only to find that even with his triple promotion in rank, he still didn't have the clearance. The only information he couldn't access with his current clearance was the highest-level classified data within the Shiran civilization.
There was no doubt that information related to the Dawn Mecha, capable of rivaling disaster beasts in combat, was top-secret. The classified data he couldn't access was something this devil before him could casually see, as if he were strolling through his own backyard.
"What do you mean?"
"Exactly what I said. I've been through all your Shiran research facilities, looked through all the data, and even watched your scientists conduct various experiments." Muria said nonchalantly.
Fargo's lips moved, but he was at a loss for words. If anyone else had claimed to have wandered through all their top military research facilities and browsed through their data, he would have arrested them on the spot and sent them to prison without hesitation.
But with this person in front of him, he didn't know how to react. Spying on their classified information? How laughable! The being before him was far superior to the Shiran. To this being, their so-called top-secret data was probably nothing more than child's play, utterly insignificant.
From another perspective, in this being's eyes, the Shiran civilization likely resembled insects in a box. To him, observing the Shiran was like a child watching ants carry things around. The gap between them was simply too vast.
"Be patient for a while. Soon enough, you'll get your Mecha back." Muria stood up and then smiled meaningfully as if something occurred to him.
"But you'd better prepare yourself mentally. Before you get your Mecha back, you might go through some unpleasant experiences. Remember to endure it and not destroy everything you've earned with your own soul."
Without waiting for Fargo's reaction, Muria vanished from the room.
...
"Little Muria, what are you planning?" On the vast ocean of the Shiran world, a golden-haired girl turned her head to look at the black-haired, golden-eyed youth who had torn through space. She knew what her son had just been up to since, in this world, their family was the strongest.
"Nothing much. I just plan to use a slightly gentler method to take control of this world." Muria smiled. From the moment he received the coordinates in the World Dominance Hall, he had considered this world as his. Causing any significant damage here would only make him regret it later.
"Why bother? I've already checked, and this world only has one legendary creature. As long as you defeat it, this world will be yours."
Ansel, who wasn't as thoughtful, spoke impatiently. After arriving in this world, the only books he looked at were about the world's special beasts and the distribution of mineral resources. This was a small world, classified as a resource world by the World Dominance Hall, and it was incredibly rich in mineral resources. Consequently, the number of powerful creatures it nurtured was relatively small.
This world had only about a dozen Soul Intent-level creatures and one legendary creature. Surprisingly, there was no record of this legendary creature in the Shiran civilization's archives, which was quite puzzling.
"Ansel, can't you at least look at the data? Even if you defeat the legendary creature, that doesn't mean you've conquered the world."
Seeing her husband acting like a brute, the Golden Dragon Lady felt slightly exasperated. She knew her husband wasn't unintelligent; he was simply too lazy to think because he believed he could conquer the world with brute force alone. So why waste time and effort?
"The legendary creature we found is probably what the local intelligent species call a 'special beast,' and it should be the strongest one. Even if you defeat it, you still can't rule the world."
The Golden Dragon Lady looked down at the vast ocean with indifferent eyes. Although the Shiran used to be aquatic, they had long since adapted to life on land. Their organs for living in the ocean had almost completely atrophied, and they had become true terrestrial creatures. So, it was unlikely that the legendary sea creature had anything to do with the Shiran.
"Is that so? Then, after I defeat it, I'll go find the strongest member of this world's intelligent species and conquer them. Problem solved."
Ansel didn't care much after hearing his wife's explanation. Why bother with so much planning when you could just beat the strongest beings into submission?
Boom!
After speaking, Ansel drew his legendary weapon, a massive spear nearly 200 meters long. Pure white wind blades swirled around the spear, extending its length to nearly 1,000 meters. As the wind spear appeared, the skies above the sea began to churn with storm clouds and surging waves.
Muria watched as his father, wielding the spear formed by a hurricane, thrust it straight into the ocean below. A massive whirlpool formed around the spear as it pierced the sea.
The whirlpool grew larger and larger, causing even greater disturbances, until finally, the waves awakened a giant beast slumbering in the depths of the ocean.
Roar! A deep beastly roar came from the depths, and the already turbulent sea became even more violent. Hearing this roar, Ansel retracted his spear. The massive hurricane spear collapsed, returning to its original form. There was no need to maintain it anymore—the creature he wanted to provoke had already awakened and seemed enraged.
Splash!
The turbulent sea was split apart, and a colossal humanoid creature emerged. Its upper body resembled that of a Titan, with perfectly proportioned muscles. Its blue hair flowed down, and its eyes had a faint golden hue with tiny arcs of lightning dancing within them.
However, its lower half was different from a Titan's, being a mass of thick, tentacled appendages covered in suckers, each tentacle stretching hundreds of meters, slapping the ocean's surface and stirring up towering waves.
"Hmm? A disaster beast... the Sea King!" Muria raised an eyebrow as he recognized the creature. He had seen something similar in Shiran intelligence reports. However, in the reports, the Sea King was recorded as only having Soul Intent-level strength, far weaker than the current creature.
Still, Muria was sure this was the Sea King, one of the second disaster-level special beasts. The first disaster-level creature, which had earned the term "disaster beast" for its kind, had already been killed by the Shirans in a focused attack.
This second disaster-level beast, the Sea King, was known for its relatively mild nature, only destroying a coastal city now and then. Its attacks caused minimal damage, making it the most low-key of all disaster beasts. As a result, the Shirans hadn't targeted it.
What even the Shirans hadn't realized was that this low-key special beast had quietly advanced to legendary status, becoming a far more powerful being.
"Who are you?" The Sea King, full of anger after being awakened from its slumber, was shocked when it saw the beings who had roused it. Especially the Titan-like figure of Ansel, who not only felt familiar but also made it want to bow down in reverence.
Confused by its own feelings, the Sea King sent out a garbled soul inquiry to Ansel, "Why are you so similar to me?"
Ansel completely ignored the creature's question. It was nothing more than a lucky beast with a trace of Titan blood.
Turning to Muria, Ansel asked, "What do you think of this creature? Interested in making it your subordinate?"
"It's too ugly. I don't want it." Muria shook his head at the sight of the Sea King's tentacled lower body. The contrast between its majestic upper half and grotesque lower half was too much for him. It was far too unsightly to be a worthy subordinate.
"Alright." Ansel nodded, then hurled his spear like a javelin.
A flash of golden light streaked across the sea, and a massive hole appeared in the Sea King's chest. Pale golden, semi-transparent blood gushed out.
"You..." The Sea King looked up at the being who resembled it, wanting to say something. But before it could speak, an overwhelming sense of weakness consumed it, and its consciousness faded into darkness as its body collapsed heavily into the ocean.
"It's done." Ansel retrieved his spear. He hadn't intended to engage in a prolonged battle with this creature born from a bit of Titan blood. While it might have been the strongest being in this world, to Ansel, it was just an ugly nuisance, better off dead.
