The red moon cast an eerie glow on the lonely streets of the abandoned city, a chilling sight unfolded, none there were left alive to witness it however. An army of vile monsters emerged from the shadows, their grotesque forms illuminated by flickering streetlights that barely held on to life. Their twisted limbs shuffled with grotesque synchronicity, each step causing an unsettling creaking and slithering sound. Some were lycanthropes, some vampiric beasts…But all were out for blood.
The creatures' malevolent presence seemed to seep into the city's very core, suffocating the desolate area. they climbed out of buildings, and sewers. Their flesh was a sickly shade of gray, marked by scars and decay as if they had emerged from a long-forgotten nightmare. Jagged claws protruded from their gnarled hands, ready to rend and tear. They had all been transformed under the control of Hugo, A Vampire Duke.
As the army of vile creatures approached the ancient church, its once-sanctified walls whispered tales of forgotten sermons and lost prayers. The moonlight, struggling to penetrate the thick fog that cloaked the surroundings, revealed ornate stained glass windows now cracked and shattered, suffering the ravages of time. The pews stood abandoned, their once-polished wood now worn and weathered.
An unsettling silence hung heavy in the air, broken only by the distant sound of the creatures' collective growls and snarls. The church served as a last bastion, a beacon of resistance against the encroaching darkness. IT's holy aura stopped the advance of the Army.
"Stop."
Hugo ordered the beats to stop, His elite order of Vampires, all wearing ornate but tough armour appeared. He appeared in the front, dressed in his regal attire, but also covered in numerous artifacts.
"The Holy power of Savar is stopping our advance."
He announced to his army, The tens of thousands of Vile creatures shrieked and his own Vampiric soldiers slammed their halberds on the ground as an act of defiance to Savar.
"We will wait here. Starve them as we did before."
"Are you sure that will work sir?"
His second in command, the strongest here below only him asked. He was dressed in full armor and held a massive ornate axe, capable of cutting mountains like a hot knife through butter.
"Why do you think it won't? It worked before, it'll work again."
The Second in command retreated to his post. Hugo opened his status and inspected himself once more. He had not forgotten the humiliation he had felt.

"Yes…this is my power…"
Hugo marveled at his status window. This was his power! The man just focused on running away previously but this time will be different! It will be different!
He would crush that man in battle if he ever appeared! He also had the support of his entire army as well if the Saintess helped the man.
'Now…I just need to wait for him to come out or starve.'
That was what he did previously. That will be what he will do now. He just needed to wai-
"Huh?"
To his and his entire army's shock. The man appeared. Alone.
He walked out confidently with a smile.
"Wow, I'm famous."
He said, his gait not at all changed by the pressure of the entire army.
"So, Is this necessary? I mean I really don't want t-"
"ATTACK!"
Hugo ordered as soon as the man stepped out of the range of the Church.
And the battle began with one man against an army of tens of thousands.
