Novus 23, 3023, Day of Thura, 4:44 a.m.

Whooosh!

Vivian clawed a Guard in half with one of her bare demon hands.

[Greater Origin Transformation].

BBBBLLLLAAAAAAAAAAAAKKKK….!!!!

From 3 meters, she transformed to 40 meters.

SSSSPPPPLLLLAAAATTTT….!

SSSSPPPPLLLLAAAATTTT….!

Powerful whirlwinds erupted from two of her demon arms as she reached out and pinched the two flying units in the sky with her fingers using her full speed.

Now that her AGI was AGI - 12 (+660) or 672 points, despite it being reduced by 40% due to her 40-meter-tall stature, her movement speed was still 667-268.8=403.2 points.

[Greater Origin Transformation].

Blaaak!

She transformed into a 5-meter-tall Lesser Demon and faced the last remaining nervous system.

Tatatatatatatatata...

A shivering and wide-eyed pale-skinned female with long blonde braided hair was standing in the middle of a field that was laid out with the torn limbs of her dead companions. She had a Gold II Rank pendant around her neck and was holding a Poison Elemental Sword in front of her. It was unclear if it was her teeth making the clattering noises, the sword she was holding, or both.

Vivian slowly brought one of her giant fingers in front of the Adventurer's face, the tip of the long, black and sharp nail just a few inches from her nose.

"Tell me, little blueie, do you feel like you're in the presence of a God?"

Tatatatatatatatata…

The Adventurer tried to open her mouth, but she was too petrified to relax her jaw.

TAK!

Thud, clang!

The Adventurer's head was flicked away, and then the body shortly fell to the ground.

"Pffffttt….. Hehehehahahaha~!" Vivian couldn't help but laugh and the tentacles on her mouth wiggled as she pulled her hand back.

That was funny…

Why haven't I thought about that before…?

Death by flicking…!

She shook her giant head.

Really funny…

[Greater Origin Transformation].

Blaaak!

She transformed into her human form except for her left eye.

"Ooooh…!" she said as she quickly covered herself with her arms and shivered. "So cold…!"

She approached the decapitated body and stared at the clothes as she let out a sigh.

"The things I do to survive…"

[Mana Tail].

A 20-meter-long demon tail made out of blue mana appeared on her black.

The tail wrapped around Vivian and the corpse, forming into a cone, to shield the two women from the cold.

It's still cold…

But at least it's bearable…

She knelt down and began undressing the corpse.

***

"Elk…! I can smell it…!"

Vivian was trying to wear the sweater of the woman.

"Oh my God…! Please don't touch my lips…!"

As she put on the sweater, she made sure to lean her head back so that the cloth wouldn't touch her lips.

"Oh, oh, oh, ew…!"

A chill ran down her spine and her entire body flinched into a curl when she finally wore the sweater.

When she picked up the pants, she closed her eyes.

Please…

Lord, please help me…

She opened her eyes and began wearing the pants.

"Oh my God, oh my God, oh my God…! This is so disgusting…! I can already feel my whole body itching…! Lord, God of Light, when was the last time did this person taken a bath and washed their clothes…?!"

When she finally wore the pants and belt, her entire body was twitching, she couldn't stand straight, and she had this strong desire to scratch herself but was afraid the germs on the cloth only stick to her skin even more.

I SWEAR TO THE GODS…!

I'M REALLY GOING TO PAY THAT DOG'S FAMILY A VISIT FOR HAVING ME GO THROUGH THIS TORTURE…!

She uncoiled her Mana Tail and then stared at the half-naked decapitated corpse.

Why did she bound her chest with a bandage despite wearing a bra…?

And she didn't look like she was trying to pose as a man…

At least based on her clothes…

I don't know about her face, or wherever that parts of it went…

She shook her head.

Weirdo…

The moment she knelt down and picked up the Poison Elemental Short Sword, the details of the item entered her mind.

A Passive Poison Elemental Short Sword…

Whoosh, whoosh, whoosh!

She got up, swung a couple of slashes, and then inspected the blade.

Cute...

Hmm…

I can't remember the last time I picked up a sword…

An image of the sword that Marie gave her back when she was at Luxen City flashed inside her head.

It's in my room in the Third Inner Stanza Border Checkpoint collecting dust…

Along with my Crusader Armor set…

What was its Grade again…?

Mithril…?

Or was it Orichalcum…?

She tried to recall her memories.

I think it was Orichalcum…

[Power Tail].

WWOOOOOO-RRIIIIIIPP!

She swept all of the evidence with a skill and then deactivated her Mana Tail.

She stared down at her bare feet and wiggled her toes.

My beautiful and clean feet…

Her jaw started to tighten, and the handle of the Poison Elemental Sword on her hand started to bend to the shape of her grip.

Oh shit…!

She quickly relaxed once she felt the uneven surface of the sword's grip.

I'm really going to take a very long and warm bath when I get there…

Vooooooooom…!

She burst out into a run using 4.5/7 of her full speed as she headed east.

***

8:32 a.m.

Holy City, Holy Kingdom.

Vooom!

Vivian stopped about 1 and a half miles from the Holy City's West Gate.

On the right side of the right, there was a long line of people and caravans waiting in line to enter. Meanwhile, on the left road were a few people and caravans leaving.

Some of the animals nearby immediately started to panic and run away, causing a bit of chaos.

"Hah…"

Vivian bent down as she took in deep breaths.

"Hah…"

Finally here…!

"Hah…"

I'm fucking thirsty…!

"Hah…"

[Heal].

A faint yellow light enveloped her body and she straightened her back before heading over to the gate, causing more animals to panic and run away as she passed through the crowd.

Why...?

Why can't I use [Primordial Beast] without killing myself…?

It was literally the reason why I even bothered to level up [Savage Mastery]...!

If someone were to see Vivian's appearance, the typical first impression would be that she was a crazy homeless person or vagabond.

Her hair was all messy due to the wind with sprinkles of leaves, tiny branches and mud. Her face was covered in mud. Her sweater and her pants were all covered in leaves, tiny branches and mud. And lastly, her bare feet looked like she was wearing a pair of socks made out of mud.

With this kind of appearance, normally, people would look at her in disgust and shoo her away. However, no one would dare to because of the Poison Elemental Short Sword on her hand -- not to mention there was also the speed she showed, but only a very small handful of people noticed it.

"YOU! STOP THERE AND DROP YOUR WEAPON!" one of the Guards said and pointed his spear at Vivian when she finally reached the gate. The other Guards nearby also rushed over.

[Halo].

Vooom!

Pa-psssh!

A golden ring appeared on Vivian's back as she rushed over to the Guard and slapped him away with the sword.

"Know who your masters are, heretic!" she said and then deactivated her [Halo].

When the people nearby were released from the semi-charming effect of the [Halo], they were all confused and unsure to do.

Vivian ignored them and headed to the booth on the right side of the gate.

"Out of the way!"

The civilians standing in from of the booth quickly moved away and Vivian stepped forward where there was a White Cloak Priest in his late 30s and 2 non-Priest employees sitting inside.

"I am Sister Vivian of the Holy Crusade. I was attacked by a group of heretics during a Field Mission and lost all of my belongings. I need a bathroom to wash myself and a fresh set of clothes, including a White Cloak and an Inquisitor Mask. Hurry up."

The Priest behind the booth was confused.

Although he was affected by Vivian's [Halo] earlier, he was sure that her accent was that of someone from the Luxen Chapter Temple.

[Explosive Fist].

Booom!

"Kyaaaa…!!!"

"Kyaaaa…!!!"

Vivian destroyed the wall of the booth and then stepped inside.

Pah!

She slapped the Priest with her left hand before he could say or do anything.

"Did you hear what I just said?"

Pah!

He received another slap.

[Mana Fist].

Chud.

A human man made out of blue mana appeared over Vivian's left hand and she grabbed the Priest's face to face her. Blood trickled from the Priest's lips and he had a few broken teeth inside his mouth.

"I dare you to say or do something stupid, BROTHER."

***

9:12 a.m.

Inquisitory Division Headquarters.

Vivian was heading over to a building.

She was wearing an Inquisitor Full-Mask and a White Cloak. And underneath her cloak, she wore a white long-sleeved blouse, brown pants, brown gloves, belt and boots, and she had her Poison Elemental Short Sword inside a scabbard on her left hip.

As she stepped inside the building, she immediately went to the reception desk and her eyes turned to slits.

So he's already here…

"Brother Inquisitor Wind~ When did you come back from your Field Mission?"

Wind, who was busy reading a book on his chair, raised his head, placed the book down, got up, took out a logbook, a pen, and a Memory Crystal underneath the counter, and then placed them on top of the counter.

"A few days ago."

Vivian grabbed the pen and opened the logbook.

"Is Brother Inquisitor Pen at his office?" she asked while signing.

Vivian finished signing and then turned to him.

"He left about 30 minutes ago."

"Do you know where he went?"

"No."

"You don't know, or you refuse to tell me?"

Wind studied Vivian for a moment.

"All I know is that he went to the Temple of Palace."

"When will he return?"

"I have no idea."

"Take a guess. You're always here."

"Go ask his secretary, she would know."

Vivian placed her hand on the Memory Crystal.

"I'm waiting, Brother."

Wind touched the side of the Memory Crystal and then it emitted a faint glow.

Once the information was registered, Vivian pulled her hand away.

"By the way, Brother, where can I issue a new Class Crystal? I was attacked last night by a group of heretics and it got destroyed while I was fighting."

Wind's eyes turned to slits behind his mask as he recalled his experience at She'kel Village with her.

"You will need to submit a report to the Registration Office.

"Once they confirm it, they will send a request to the main office of your Chapter Temple.

"The main office of your Chapter Temple would then create you one, send it here it, and then you can claim it here at the Inquisitor Division's Registration Office or the Inquisitor Division will deliver it to you at the station you're assigned to."

"How many days will that take?" Vivian asked.

"It depends on the reason why you lost your Class Crystal. Sometimes an investigation would be required."

"Can I at least access my bank account?"

"You can."

***

Ka-cha!

Vivian entered Pen's main office and she immediately made her way to Nina, Pen's secretary.

Nina got up from her seat and lowered her head.

"Welcome, Honored Priestess Inquisitor," she said and then raised her head. "If you're looking for Honored Priest Inquisitor Pen, he isn't here at the moment, he left the Inquisitor Division Headquarters to attend a meeting. However, I can take any message or package you have for him and I will immediately give it to him once he returns."

"Do you know when he will return?"

"I'm very sorry, but I don't know."

"You don't know, or you refuse to tell me?"

Nina hesitated for a moment and then lowered her head.

"I'm very sorry, Honored Priestess Inquisitor, but I can't."

Vivian scoffed.

"I want you to tell him this right away:

"I was suddenly attacked by a powerful Aristocratic Noble named Konrad from the Iron Kingdom's Duke family -- the Halb'hund and the Halb'mensch family.

"We fought and I killed him -- True Death.

"And now, I'm about to visit the Iron Kingdom's Duke family and slaughter them all for heresy.

"No one knows about this except for you."

Nina's jaw dropped behind her mask and her eyes blinked a few times, still trying to register what Vivian just told her.

Chud.

Vivian reached out for Nina's collar and pulled her close.

"Listen here, I know that you can contact Pen. So I suggest you tell him immediately.

"Also, only Pen should know about this. If I find out that you told another person or you didn't follow my orders, I'm coming for you, your family and everyone that you love.

"I'll peel your eyelids so that you can watch me slaughter your family and everyone that you love in front of you as they cry and beg.

"And once I'm done, I'm not going to kill you or do anything to you. I have something, something far more entertaining: I'll let you continue on living while I keep you like a little pet, so that I can watch you carry that pain and regret inside of you for the rest of your life.

"See? Isn't that far more entertaining than giving you the satisfaction of dying with your family and loved ones? Am I not kind and merciful~?"

She let out a chuckle and then pulled her closer.

"And one last thing: No one in the Temple of Priests, not even the Cardinals and the Light Saint, can do anything about it, because I'm going to be the next Light Saint. So you better get used to following my orders, because I'm going to own and rule all of this very soon."

Vivian finally released her.

"Don't disappoint me."

***

11:11 a.m.

Duke Faction Domain, Iron Kingdom.

Vooom!

Vivian stopped beside a tree.

What the hell…?!

No one told me that this place was in the middle of snow…!

She was wearing the same clothes, including the Poison Elemental Short Sword on her left hip, but she had a backpack with her.

She focused her gaze on a castle a couple of miles ahead.

That's the Iron Kingdom's Duke family's castle...?

Why is it so small...?

There was a castle with a three-story wall around it.

She shook her head mentally.

Whatever...

At least it would be easier to slaughter them...

[Mana Claw].

Scrap, scrap, scrap…

A demon hand that was proportionate to a 3-meter-tall being appeared over her right hand and she began digging a hole next to the roots of the tree.

She deactivated the [Mana Claw], removed her backpack, and then placed it in the hole.

[Mana Claw].

She activated the skill again and then covered the hole with the soil and snow.

There…!

Now I don't have to be worried about getting naked after the fight…

She returned her gaze to the castle.

[Mana Dual Claws].

Two claw gauntlets, each with 3 1.5-foot-long blades above the knuckle area, made out of blue mana appeared on Vivian's hands.

Which one should I choose…?

She thought about it for a moment.

[Enchant Fire].

Both of her Mana Claw Gauntlets were wrapped with fire.

Vooom!
